Aphrodite grows from the sea foam by the shore. she's soon taken to that place in the sky, plagued with prying eyes. it's the reason for her sudden marriage to the forge master. but it's the god of war who she finds salvation in, who becomes a protector. they relinquish in each other's warmth, their passions so alike.
but the world is not kind, and neither are the gods.
