❝If I fail that paper I will scream.❞

❝I don't think you'll fail,❞ Marc replied matter-of-factly as the pair exited the examination hall.

❝That one question!❞

❝It can't be that bad,❞ Marc chuckled, his eyes roaming the crowd of students shuffling toward the exit.

❝Marc!❞

Marc halted to a stop at the sound of that all too familiar voice.

❝Was that Henry?❞

❝Yeah, you should go. I'll see you later,❞ Marc hurriedly shooed Erik away as Henley ambled over, a shy smile across her face.

❝Hey, Marc!❞

❝You seem cheery.❞

❝Well, can I be frank about that paper?❞

❝Sure.❞

❝Honestly, it was actually pretty doable.❞

A small smile crept up onto his face, and as he watched her begin blabbering about the paper, all he could think about was how glad he was to have made the decision to tutor her.
