WeaselTail's destiny (A Warriors fanfic)

Chapter 3: The seemingly impossible journey.

Mossheart sighs "I doubt we will even be able to complete this 'mission' that starclan supposedly sent you a dream of who even talked to you in your dream anyways?"

WeaselTail sighs "If I remember I think it was mothstar..." Mossheart gasps "Y-You mean the other leader before Aspenstar?!" WeaselTail sighs "Yeah atleast that's what they told me..."

Frogpaw sighs "You're lucky you get to be so special, you were born a loner and was given to the clan AND now you get to go on some really cool quest for Starclan to supposedly save us!" WeaselTail growls "It's not my fault Starclan gave me this dream... I didn't even know they were gonna give the dream to me..."

Mossheart sighs "Yeah calm down Frogpaw I doubt you would like getting this dream and fearing that your clan is in danger when your just an apprentice!" Frogpaw curses at Mossheart and she hisses back at him

WeaselTail growls at the two "Look the soon we stop arguing the faster we will get to where we need to go... Well I don't even know where we need to go...." Frogpaw sighs "Maybe if you go to sleep maybe something will happen?"

Mossheart shrugs "it is a good idea we should get a bit rest or get some prey because I'm starving!" WeaselTail smiles "Ok Mossheart go and find some prey Frogpaw you make sure no animal or other cats come and attack and I'll try and see if they send me another dream...." Mossheart nods and runs off and Frogpaw sits down watching around carefully while WeaselTail lays down and closes her eyes

WeaselTail suddenly wakes up in a small cave not knowing where but a small cat appears and says "Greetings Weaseltail I am Stoneheart and I originally lived in one of the old clans known as lightclan that existed a very long time ago..." WeaselTail tilts her head in confusion "Is there something that you needed to tell me or..." Stoneheart remembers "Ah yes I remember I was come to tell you go to the fallen cave... And to find this place you will need to find the sunset and your quest will be complete... I wish you luck on this perilous journey..."  WeaselTail suddenly wakes up and sees Mossheart come back with a rabbit and a mouse

Frogpaw smiles "Finally! I was starving!" Mossheart sighs "Of course you are Frogpaw... Anyways WeaselTail did you get another dream?" WeaselTail hesitates then sighs "Yes I did and I met someone named Stoneheart from a clan from a long time ago called 'lightclan' it does sounds like a weird name" Frogpaw gasps "did the cat tell you where to go?!" WeaselTail smiles "Yes they did they told me that we need to to and see 'sunset' but I don't know what or who this 'sunset' is" Mossheart sighs "Well before we go I think we should eat and rest" Frogpaw takes the mouse from Mossheart and takes a big bite out of the small mouse WeaselTail smiles "hey Mossheart do you want to share that rabbit you got?" Mossheart smiles "Sure I don't mind sharing it anyways I'm not really that hungry..." Mossheart passes the rabbit over to WeaselTail and she smiles "thanks Mossheart I always knew you were a good hunter" Mossheart smiles "Thanks! Most of the clan doesn't realize that yet I don't really know how" WeaselTails smiles "You and Frogpaw should get some sleep I'm gonna eat this rabbit." Frogpaw and Mossheart both nod and lay down and close their eyes WeaselTail takes a bit into the plump rabbit and smiles. "This seems somewhat impossible but I have a feeling if we stick together we will be able to complete our journey...."

MEANWHILE BACK AT STREAMCLAN

Aspenstar stares at the outskirts of the camp worried that WeaselTail might not make her journey to wherever she has to go. Tinyfish walks over to Aspenstar "Is something wrong Aspenstar?" Aspenstar looks at her deputy "No no Tinyfish everything is fine I'm just worried that WeaselTail might not finish her quest..." Tinyfish smiles "WeaselTail is a brave warrior and she took Frogpaw and Mossheart with her Frogpaw is one of our strongest apprentices and Mossheart is an incredible fighter and hunter!" Aspenstar smiles "I guess that is true.... But what I'm worried about if what if a fox or a badger or some other dangerous animal finds them and attacks them while they're sleeping?!" Tinyfish sighs "That may be true but if Starclan chose her to go I'm sure they have a good reason for choosing her" Aspenstar sighs "Ok that is true I guess but still I wonder how the other clans are doing besides them I care about the other clans even though I'm not their leader I just care about most cats I think all cats lives matter weather they are a clan cat,kittypet,loner, or rouge  all of their lives matter and just because they're different doesn't mean we should treat them like they don't exist or they will attack us." Tinyfish sighs "Well tonight is the gather because tonight is the full moon who will you be taking?" Aspenstar smiles "I'll take you Birdpaw Sorrelheart blazingpelt Goldenpaw Tigerpaw Bluepaw and Sandtail" Tinyfish smiles "I'm so excited! I can't believe my own apprentice Bluepaw will be going to his first gathering he will be so excited!" Aspenstar smiles "I just feel like I should take most of the apprentices so they can experience more gatherings it makes sense to me." The Sun is setting in the distance and the moon starts rising in the horizon and Aspenstar sighs "Tinyfish will you please go and gather the cats I am taking with me?" Tinyfish smiles "Of course
Aspenstar!" Tinyfish runs off to go find the other cats Aspenstar smiles "I wonder how the other clans are doing..."
