chapter four

rachel woke up to the sound of gracie giggling rachel got up and went through to thd living room to find gracie stood laughing away as sebastian was knelt down the back of the couch doing a puppet ahoe with her toys making her laugh.

" morning" he said as he spotted rachel

" morning" she replied as gracie cuddled her

" so breakfast shall i go get us a coffee" he asked

" that would be lovely" rachel replied

" wont be long" he said  leaving

" you want some toast "rachel asked gracie who nodded as rachel set about making breakfast she couldnt hel9 but be thankful he had really helped her out after all she wasnt deeling great and hunter wasnt around to look after gracie.

as gracie sat eating her toast sebastian arrived back he had brought them both a coffee plus a few muffins.

" thank you" rachel said

" its only a coffee" he said with a smile

" i wasnt talking about the coffee" rachel said

" your welcome i have enjoyed myself i have always wanted kids so its been fun entertaining her ahe is a great kid she is just like you" he said

" well im biased as she is mine but she is a good kid do you think you will have children" she said

" i want them wether it happens who knows" he said they seemed to have a moment of looking at each other before gracie dropped her juice on the floor.

" oops" gracie said rachel cleaned it up.

" so what you two girls doing today" he asked

" not sure yet" rachel said before coughing

" well i think we should get you into bed" he said rachel couldnt help but look at him

" no...i mean.... your not well" he said embarrassed by his own phasing

" i cant" rachel said

" i will watch her" he said

" but its friday arent you working" rachel asked

" its just paper work i can do it here and over the weekend"he said

"but thats not fair on you"rachel said

"rach remember im the only person you know as stubborn as you im stayig thats final and your going to bed so that you can get better" he said

" that sounded like an order" rachel chuckled

" it was and i mean it if you dont i shall carry you and put you in bed myself" he said

" fine" rachel said

rachel went to bed she could hear gracie laughing alot she was happy knowing her daughter was Happy one of the main things that hurt rachel with hunter was he wasnt constistant with gracie that hurt more than anything he could do to rachel.

rachel had drifted off to sleep and woke up in he afternoon feeling a little better and she got up to find grafie was asleep on her beanbag sebastian was onnhis tablet no doubt doing some work.

" hey" rachel said

" you look alittle better" he said

" i feel alittle better" rachel admitted

he left that evening as he had plans the next day quite early but he told her ti ring if she needed anything rachsl had to admit to herself when he had gone that it had been lovely him been there.

she thought about what he had said about wanting kids and givennhow good he was with gracie she hoped he became a father he would make a great one. she also found herself thinking of what it must be like to have him be the father of your child the support the trust the mother would have in him she had briefly had that in hunter at the beginging when gracie was first born but the fact was now when gracie was with hunter she worried if she was alright.

rachel found herself getting upset she held it in not wanting her daughter to see her upset.

tuesday

rachel is at the loft kurt and blaine had gotton back yesterday and she had gone round to see them they planned on having a pizza sebastian was coming too. hunter was to pick gracie up from the loft so rafhel was fedling a little nervous. he was to have her overnight rachel wasnt holding her breath.

gracie was on blaine's knee as the loft door opened and in walked both sebastian and hunter they had come up in the lift together. the tension between then was obvious rachel wondered of they had exchanged words becuase of  it.  but if rafhel thought that was awkward nothin could have prepared her for what happened next.

gracie seeing her dad got off of blaine's knee and ran hunter bent down but she ran straight past him to sebastian. hunter looked furious sebastian looked smug and for the first time rachel kurt and blaine were pleased to see his smirk.

"gracie"hunter said as sebastian bent down tomhug graciecwho was clinging to his leg.

"daddy"she said finally detatching herself from sebastian and hugging her dad.

"gracie why dont you go pick a toy to bring with you" hunter said gracie ran to her toy box

" what the hell was that" hunter snapped

" she is a kid they do things sometimes" kurt said

" explain" hutner said to sebastian

" what there is nothing to explain she was ill i looked after her" sebastian said

" he looked after her"hunter said to rachel

"rachel wasnt well either someone had to look after her" sebastian said

"i was busy" hunter said

"so was i but i tuck time off" sebastian said hunter glared at him

" gracie come on" hunter said gracie ran to rachel to kiss her goodbye then did the same to blaine kurt and sebastian before hunter picked her up and left with her.

" wow" blaine said

" he cant blame you for that"kurt said

"but he will"rachel said

"im sorry"sebastian said

"dont be its his problem"rachel said.

they ate the pizza and had a good time and rachel was surprised that hunter did infact have gracie over night.
