Now was his chance, Bomba had been avoiding him all day, which was extremely unusual. Tugger loved the attention and when it lacked, he knew about it. Not to sound too self centered. Tugger waited until Cori eventually slinked away before he advanced over to the red queen. He wore a confident smirk as always but as soon as their eyes met, the glare she sent him was enough to make the tom quiver.

"H-hey Bomba." Tugger croaked, the smirk quickly fading as her eyes narrowed further.

"Tugger." She snapped. The tom had no idea as to why she was being so hostile all of a sudden, it actually worried him slightly.

"What's wrong?" He blurted, immediately he regretted his question as he witnessed her face turn to thunder.

"What's wrong?" She growled. "What's wrong?!" Tugger stepped back slightly in fear as Bomba pointed a sharp claw in his direction. "Tugger...this game we've been been playing for what feels like forever, it's over."

"What game?" He questioned dumbly, feeling genuinely confused.

"Us. Flirting back and forth. It's hurting me. And now I'm done." Bomba hissed. The was a brief moment where she glanced down at her paws in thought, her mind was racing as she could feel the weight lifting from her shoulders. This had been a long time coming. "Yeah. I'm done." She meowed, her voice was thick with relief. Tugger had no idea how to respond, his mouth hung ajar and his whiskers drooped. Up until this moment, he never knew how much of an impact his playful flirting had.

"I-I'm sorry Bomba..." He murmured in guilt. She glanced back up at the tom, the ghost of a smile present on the corner of her lips. She opened her mouth to speak but quickly hesitated, as if she was having an internal debate. She gave the tom a slow nod before turning away. He'd really messed it up this time. The Rum Tum Tugger crawled out of the den into the open yard to see his brother sprinting around the perimeter. "Munk!" He called out. When the silver tabby did not respond, the flamboyant sibling lurched forwards hoping to reach him before he disappeared. "Munkustrap!" Tugger yowled. This time he heard and Munkustrap halted in his tracks.

"Tugger? What is it?" The older brother meowed in concern with a frown.

"Am I a bad cat?" Tugger asked, gesturing to himself. Munk chuckled awkwardly at his younger brother's odd question.

"Context?"

"Oh right, um, well I've upset Bomba because I flirt to much and nothing serious has happened between us.." Tugger babbled. Munkustrap shook his head and folded his arms, his brother was finally coming to his senses.

"Look, Tugg. You're not a bad cat, you just mislead the queens with your flirtatious manner. If you truly like someone yet you're throwing yourself out to others, what kind of impression is that going to give them?" Munkustrap explained. They younger tom listened intently, his brother was making so much sense for once.

"I understand

"I understand. Thanks brother!" Tugger grinned, clapping Munk on the back practically winding him in the process.

"No...problem." Munkustrap coughed.
