A Different Kind ♡

•[ First Day ]•

~{ Will's POV }~

It was my first day at school.
I didn't know anybody and nobody knew me.
I had just moved from England to California.
I stepped out of my car and took a second to look at the humongous school.
I looked at my schedule and back at the school.
I started to get nervous because I didn't know where anything was.
I walked towards the school and past a bunch of friend groups.

AN- By the way "this writing" is Will thinking in his mind.

I probably look so awkward right now. Ugh.

People started to stare at me.

Great.

I looked to see what my first class is. Math.

Math is actually one of my favorite subjects so that's cool. I really hope I have a good math teacher though otherwise this will just be torture.

•Magical Time Skip•

I finally found my classroom. I take a seat towards the back. I start getting out my supplies.
I've always been like one of those kids who always brings everything they need, behaves, listens, does their work, etc.
While I'm doing this I glance to my left and I see a girl.

Great. I know I'm already awkward and I'm even more awkward around girls. Plus it's my first day so I'm sure to be extra awkward. And she's pretty cute. Ugh. Well I'm gonna blow it.

I just decide to not say anything.

Perfect. If I avoid conversation then, it won't be awkward.

I continue getting out my things.

"Hi I'm Sydney. I just moved here."

No no no. I wanted to avoid conversation. Why did she just have to say something? Ugh.

"Oh ummm Hi. My name is Will. I umm.. just moved here too."

"Oh you just moved here too. That's cool. Where did you move from?"

"England."

"Oh I've been to England a couple times, I love it there. I moved here from New York."

"Cool."

It just clicked in my mind that since she just moved she doesn't know anybody either.

Perfect. Well not for her but us because maybe we could become friends.

A couple months ago I remembered that I didn't want to move what so ever but, now it doesn't seem quite as bad.
