During the interview, "How could you guys create such a stage performance with your real personality?"

BLACKPINK who nervously finishes their first interview with media, reveal their own stories as it is.

For this comeback which more like debut, we are so curious about how your feeling?
Rose: This is our first comeback after debut. Please give us a lot of love as we prepared so much already. Thank you
Jisoo: Just what as you said, this is comeback which looks like debut. We are coming back with new songs. Thank you for keep listening to our songs despite the fact we could not have so many activities. We were so worried since debuted with not enough promotion. I am really thankful.
Lisa: This time we prepared so much, so it will be nice to anticipating our stage.
Jennie: We are coming back with 'Playing With Fire' and 'Stay'. I feel so nervous yet looking forward to it.

I think Yang Hyunsuk adore you a lot?
Jisoo: Haha, whenever we finished our performance, sajangnim always monitoring, encouraging us through message, and gave us a lot of good stories. I think since we are still rookie we might have done some mistakes. I believe that if we can show him we can do a good job, we will be able to do a lot of activities. Just like father, he capture and show the things we did well, being proud of it. Also for things we couldn't do, he capture it, sent it and and said 'What is this?' He taking care of us just like a father.
Jennie: He was the first person who congratulating us, capture it and sent it to us. When we went down from the stage after got a trophy, there was a message from him haha.

You went through a long period of training, wasn't it hard?
Lisa: Since I am foreigner, it was so hard to communicate, members were helped me a lot. We become more reliable to one another, I think that's why I bear the past time.
Jisoo: I think for of us become more reliable to one another because we have the same dreams, interests and goal.

Jennie-ssi, you debuted 5 years later just after introduced as YG girlgroup member right?
Jennie: Haha, yes that's right, I think I had a hard time with debut matter. That time I thought we will really debut whenever I looked on that teasers and few articles published, month by month passed by, it become 5 years already. I feel the responsibility ever since the pictures about team configuration begin to draw.

Do you perhaps have a name other than BLACKPINK?
Jisoo: Ah.. is it okay to tell you this? Actually we almost debut with 'PinkPunk' as our name. There was 'Baby Monster' as well, the most shocking one was 'Magnum'. I was so surprised when the name was about to be changed, thankfully we debuted as 'BLACKPINK'.

Is there anything that change after debut?
Jisoo: We are not sure, actually. I still feel like a trainee. After debut we went to practice room to practice.. The pattern is just the same.

How about 'Playing with Fire' that sweeps 7 charts?
Jisoo: Of course we are so thankful, we couldn't do much activities & we didn't show much on stage though. Thank you so much for those who listening and giving a lot of loves towards our songs.

Don't you feel burdensome by recent issue regarding 'Competition between Big3 Company'?
Jennie: Rather than desire to win, since we are just debuted not long ago I think it is more important to let more people know us through many activites

Do you looking forward for rookie awards this year?
Jennie: If we are not expecting it, I think we are lying. If we really get it.. Eum... Really.. I think we will really happy hehe.

Did you feel the lack of activies during 'Whistle' & 'Boombayah'?
Rose: I am not sure if it is because of our debut, when everything was our first experience, we were so lacking. There were a lot of time when we had a though about fixing every lack points and do a better job next time. We were so nervous too. I feel that I looks so awkward on screen.. I wanted to confidently show you better side of me.

Is there any mistakes you remembered?
Lisa: Jisoo unnie was throwing the mic.
Jisoo: Haha, during music show's rehearsal, there was a choreo when I had to turned my hands, and I threw the mic when I did that choreo. So for the next I hold my mic tightly until my hands turned red.

I think there muse be burden to be a part of YG Entertainment?
Jisoo: If you look fellow artists from same company you will automatically monitoring them. Because of so many experiences that had, that have an excellent ability to control the stage and energy.. I think that is the biggest part we have to learned. Since all sunbaes are successful , of course there is a burden. I keep in mind that we have to follow them quickly so that we wont left behind.

Was there any sunbaes who give you support or advices?
Rose: Everyone is taking care of us well since we are the youngest team. During Christmas, Sandara Park sunbae send us chicken so that we can eat it, when we were practicing room. I think that time become our strength.

Looks like there are so many comparison with 2NE1?
Jisoo: To be able being the comparison itself is a great honor for us, however we don't want to go differently. Rather than showing other color, we want to show YG's color more. I don't think it's bad to show that we want to follow. We want to be as the same as their charisma and stage control.

Tell us about each member's charms.
Jisoo: Lisa is so good at Korea. She is so cute when she use proverbs she learned.
Lisa: I think I become a Korean.
Jisoo: She eats Korean pork bone soup too haha.
Jennie: Probably Jisoo unnie has the biggest reversal, I think. In real life she's full of gags, she has many joke-skills, she likes game too, she's very easy going.
Jisoo: Yesterday when we were filmed Weekly Idol, they said that I looks so fierce on stage but just like a baby (in real life).. Haha.. Everyone was so surprised.

The hardest moment after debut?
Jennie: I am very nervous during this interview because this is the first time we being interviewed alone without sajangnim.

The most memorable moment after debut?
Jennie: The most fun moment was when we met with fans. I felt so fascinating and excited at the same time when so many people came to see us.
Rose: Fans' feedback was most impressive moment. Fans' comment are so warm, comforting me a lot. I am so thankful.

Is there any feedback you want to receive through this album?
Jisoo: 'Playing with Fire' is a sog that concentrate to its choreaography. I want to hear that our performance has been upgraded. Meanwhile STAY is an acoustic ballad, I want to hear that this kind of song suits us very well too.

What kind of team BLACKPINK wanted to be?
Answer: We want to be a team who receive a great welcome whenever we come out. We want to be team who will liked even if we come out with any genre.
