He wanted to stop his train
Halt it at her station
But to allow him that luxury
Life had never been so patientWith a heavy reluctant heart
He had to leave the dog and her
Go back to his students
And again be their sirShe too felt bad
But didn't show it in her tears
She wanted him to excel
Not throw a lower gearWith a heavy reluctant heart
She too waived him goodbye
It was only after he'd left
A lone tear left her eyeOne month passed
And then a couple more
After the initial laugh
Life was again starting to boreBoth held their phones
With others number dialed
But never hit the call
Both the hearts troubledFinally he had courage
To send a nervous "Hi"
And even she was surprised
How quickly she replied "Hi"It took on from there
Their friendship over the internet
They were even more open
Than the time they had metShe wrote poems for him
He was an avid reader
That bond of reader and writer
Went much more deeperIt wasn't at first sight
It wasn't in a cozy cove
It happened over the Internet
It was their 3G love
