Chapter 9

(I rewrote this chapter, I hope its better then the last version, all thanks to @poiuytre23 they helped me out a lot getting back into the swing of things)

3rd person

Vanessa gently removed her hand from Jordan's and placed her arm over her eyes as they opened.

"Your finally awake? I was so scared that you wouldn't make it." Jordan spoke softly

Vanessa's eye widened as she turned her head over to look at Jordan "Your alive, I-I thought y-you died, that m-monster ate y-you, a-am I d-died" her voice cracking her eyes filled with tears

"No, we both are alive Danny used Greek fire on the clay glob and saved me." Jordan assured her

Vanessa suddenly rushed out of the bed tackling Jordan in a hug, crying "I'm so sorry, I'm so sorry, I should have tried harder, I should have done better"

Jordan hugged Vanessa tightly "It's ok, I'm alive and your alive that's what matters, so stop apologizing." she tilted Vanessa's head so she was looking her in the eyes

suddenly their lips were embracing with salty tears a silent confirmation of their feelings for each other

there was a sound of coins, the to lovers quickly pushed away from each other in embarrassment to see Will and Nico exchanging drachmas

"What in hades, did you guys bet on us kissing?!" Jordan shouted

"Sorta, we have had an on going bet whether you two would get together or not," Will shrugged and walked over to Vanessa, "Let me check your wounds one last time before you check out."

Nico leaves to wait outside the infirmary

Vanessa nods allowing Will to remove the bandages

Having taken the bandages of the scars were visible, her shoulder showed off a small slice along her shoulder blade on the front and back "The tail had broken through your shoulder blade, but were able to fix it, I suggest going easy on it until the soreness goes away."

Then next was her right eye, the scar came vertically across her eye, her iris was pale and very reflective, the pupil was elongated like a cats eye but still some what function able

Will pulled out a flash light and began an examination on her eye sight, "It looks like you have lost most of your vision in your right eye, and that's really all your free to go."

Vanessa nods "How long was I out?"

"um about four days" Jordan replied Vanessa's eyes widened in surprised

"four days?! Oh Gods I hope you haven't been sitting here waiting the entire time."

She begins to fuse over Jordan, Jordan only smiles happy to have her back

Danny's POV

It's been four days since the accident with the giant scorpion, four days since Vanessa got wounded, four days that I have been at this camp

I'm currently walking through the forest, trying to clear my head, finding out that you related to a God can be strange

Nico has been nice although I notice him giving me strange looks behind my back, he brought me to the Apollo cabin, to live there till I'm claimed, once he explained what that meant

He said something about how strange it was that I haven't been claimed yet, it makes me wonder who my godly father is and if he cares about me

the ground began to shake and a big crack appeared out came the fright knight, on his flaming dead horse I get into fighting position out of habit
