Lauren Cimorelli almost died from sickness. The only reason she didn't die was because the doctor, who was secretly a vampire, turned her into one. Now Lauren has to keep her secret with the doctors help and has to keep hidden from a bad vampire who wants to take her strength. But this gets hard when she commits a crime on accident and is wanted by the local detective. It then gets bigger and bigger as she commits more accidental crimes. To the police she's known as a serial killer, to her family she's known as shy, sweet, innocent Lauren. But to the evil vampire she's known as prey.
