Sweet Dreams (Kai X Lloyd)

Where Lloyd is tired and Kai brings him to bed

    The ninja trained well into the night, it was late. Jay, Cole and Zane went to the kitchen on the bounty to get some refreshers. Kai knew they would be back for more training, and frankly, he needed more as well. He looked to his right and saw Lloyd, still throwing punches at the training dummy. But something was off. As he tossed each punch, they grew weaker and more lame. Kai pitied the young boy, for he knew that Lloyd had a title he needed to keep. Without hesitation he walked over to Lloyd, placing a hand on his back.

    "C'mon Lloyd, lets get you to bed."

    Lloyd just looked at Kai with tired eyes and followed him to the bunk. It was quiet, aside from the chatter heard from the other boys. Kai had Lloyd sit down on Cole's bed, whilst he made the other bed.

    "Kai?" Lloyd yawned.

    The fire ninja turned to face him, "What's up?"

    "We need to train, the others will be ready soon."

    Lloyd tried to leave but Kai ran up to him, "Not so fast Chosen One. You have been training all day, you need to sleep."

    The blonde yawned once more, "A ninja never quits Kai, we need to go back out there."

    Knowing he wasn't going to win this fight, he followed Lloyd back out to the training deck. Lloyd slowly made his way to the others, barely able to keep his eyes open.

    "Uh Lloyd, shouldn't you get some rest?" Cole questioned.

    Jay nodded, "Yeah, you don't look up for this. We don't mind if you tap out."

    The green ninja shook his head, "I'm good. Let's keep going."

    Five minutes barley passed before Lloyd collapsed. The four ninja stood around him and Kai knelt down to pick him up. Carrying him to the bunks once more he laid him down on his bed.

    "Restless, thats all he is." Kai mutters, pulling the covers up.

    He turned around, ready to leave, but he was stopped when he heard Lloyd's voice behind him.

    "Kai, don't leave."

    The fire ninja sighed, knowing that he should be out training. But his fondness for the blonde stopped him. He walked softly over to the boy, looking down at how comfortable he looked.

    "Lay with me?" His tiredness causing him to be clingy.

    Kai couldn't say no, Lloyd looked almost as he did before the aging potion. He quickly climbed into the bed next to Lloyd, careful not to let the cold breeze under the warm blanket. Almost instantly Lloyd snuggled up close to Kai, his body radiating heat.

    "So warm." Lloyd smiled contently.

    Kai wrapped his arms around the tired ninja and rubbed circles on his back. Not long after Kai felt himself starting to drift.

    "Goodnight Lloyd, may sweet dreams come your way."

Okay so its kinda short but its really cute a *squeals*

Honestly all the Ninjago ships I like. But my favorite is Jay and Cole. This one was just cute because of the Possession season, I mean Kai vowed to take care of Lloyd and its so adorable :)
