SHE IS in love with her. It is so obvious on Charito's face pero bakit hindi man lang iyon napapansin ni Aldous? I don't know how it feels to be rejected by the man you love pero alam ko ang sakit na iyon sa mga ni Charito.
"How long has she been in love with him?" Bigla ko na lang iyong naisatinig sa katabi kong si Kohl ng hindi ko na matiis. Tumingin lang din si Kohl sa gawi nila Aldous at Charito na hanggang ngayon ay nag uusap pa rin—rather, nagtatalo. It's all over Aldous' face that he's mad.
"Maybe a long time? She left the SWAT to work for him, you know?" Nakita ko ang matalim na titig ni Charito sa akin. At kahit pa na napakalayo ng distansya namin sa isa't-isa. Ramdam ko ang humihinga niyang mga mata na nakatitig sa akin. "At tanging si Vander lang ang hindi nakaka alam kung ano ang nararamdaman ni Charito sa kanya...Manhid kasi." Pabiro pang tugon ni Kohl sa akin.
I felt sorry for her. It must've been really hard to love somebody who doesn't love you back. Bakit may mga ganong pag ibig?
"What would he do if he knew? Would he return them?" Naibulalas ko. Halatang hindi ako nakikinig sa mga sinasabi ng mga pulis dahil mas pinag uukulan ko pa ng pansin ang lihim na nararamdaman ng kasamahan ng fianceè ko.
"He would probably fire her. Which is why none of us has pointed it out to him. She's a damn good bodyguard, and him firing her would be a huge loss to Kill Box Group." Nagpamulsa ako saka lumingon sa kanya.
"Bakit naman gagawin ni Aldous yon?" Sa pagkakaalam ko, if someone tells you that he or she loves you, you should appreciate it and return back the love that they've given you. Pero sa part ni Aldous, bakit niya kailangang palayuin ang taong nag mamahal sa kanya ng lubos?
"Because I know my cousin more than anybody else in this world. Not because he isn't capable of loving but he would worry that she might lose her perspective. Ayaw na ayaw ni Vander ang pinag sasabay ang personal na emosyon sa trabaho." Napatango na lamang ako.
"Seriously. With his epic emoji face lies an emotional guy. He always keeps everything inside never shows his thoughts or feelings." Natawa ako sa tinuran nito.
"Si Aldous pa rin ba ang pinag uusapan natin dito? He took a bullet that's meant for me. He saved me a couple of times now." At dahil doon, sa pagkakataong ito, tutol ako sa sinasabi niya. Dahil hindi ganon ang pagkaka kilala ko kay Aldous. He's full of emotions. He was not afraid to lash out his feelings and hatred towards me.
"You bring out another side of him. You bring out his emotions. That's probably why he's always..." Natigilan ako ng hindi itinuloy ni Kohl yung sasabihin nito.
