I Will Fix You (Ziall)

Chapter 10

It’s been a while. Niall is standing on the railings on the veranda on the second floor of the house. He sighed. At first, he doesn’t know if they will really be able to live in one house, but they managed, somehow. It’s already a week since they first set foot in the house.

There had been no fights, yet. Niall feels that sooner or later, a fight will break out.

The way they behave right now? I doubt it if we can last another week without shouting at each other.

Though Niall isn’t really bothered about this thing right. The thing that really concerns him is the behaviour of the four.

Sure there aren’t any fist fights, shouting, hurting… But the boys are ignoring each other. They are too cold for Niall’s liking.

We aren’t like this before. Why does it have to change?

Zayn’s been drinking, he always got home drunk. Niall is worried how Zayn manages to go home when he’s so wasted. Niall’s afraid he might get in an accident or something. Niall’s also worried the management will know about Zayn’s little adventures every night.

Louis doesn’t come out of his room. All day, he’ll just lay on his bed, staring blankly at the ceiling. He’s not even coming out to eat. Niall bet he’s not taking a bath too. Every day, Niall will bring him food, Louis will just groan to acknowledge his presence but whenever Niall will come back to collect the tray, he will find the food untouched. Niall’s afraid Louis will starve himself to death.

 Liam will roam the house but he’s always out of this world. He will stumble upon Niall but he will just go and see straight ahead, showing no sign that he saw nor felt Niall’s presence. He’s always staring into space. Only when Niall shouts at him that he will seem to wake up from his sleepless dream. Niall is worried Liam’s losing his mind. Though whenever that thought comes into Niall’s mind, he’ll just laugh for the idea is very impossible.

Harry’s behaviour worried Niall most. For not only the other three Harry gives the cold shoulder but also to him. Harry and Niall were on good terms before all this ‘living-together-thing’ came up and Niall couldn’t understand why Harry suddenly changed.

Could Harry currently experiencing the ‘bipolar’ mood?

Niall often wondered what happened to his mates. They changed a lot. He doesn’t know love can change someone that much.

Niall’s POV

“I don’t want to fall in love anymore.” I said to my mother through the phone.

Since I don’t know where to turn anymore, I’ve called my mother many times now. She always manages to comfort me through her advices.

“Why dear?” She asked.

“Just look what happened to them. To Liam, Harry, Louis and Zayn… They all changed Mum. And I don’t want to be like that.” I replied helplessly.

“But we both know that you’re currently in love my dear.” My mother said softly.

“Yes, I know. That’s why I’ve got to stop myself from falling more and more to that person.”

“Don’t do that Niall. Don’t force yourself to stop doing something that makes you feel happy.”

“And sad. I just don’t feel happy Mum, I also feel lonely. The truth that the person I love will never love me back, it hurts me.”

“I know dear. But did you forget that what you promised me? You will never, ever say never, just like what Justin-your idol-said in one of his song.”
