Y'all. I swear. The lack of general couth and consideration on this site is outstanding. So, I needed to get these annoyances off my chest because I'm constantly looking like this in response to people on here:

1. Ghost Readers - no comments, no votes, all of the reads.

This one is self-explanatory. Like, if you're continuing to read, obviously you like it...right? Why else you readin? Can't you press that star? Leave a "good chapter!" for a comment before you go? People put time and effort into what they create that you're regularly entertained by, but you can't give an ounce of feedback? But you lowkey want the story to continue to be written? Oh.

1A. "Reading List" Ghost Readers - no comments, no votes, but will add you to their reading lists.

So, let's review. You like the story enough to continue reading it. AND you like it enough to advertise it in your reading list/encourage others to read it. Buuutttt you still can't vote for it or leave a positive comment? I'm just not computing.

1B. Impatient Ghost Readers - all of the reads, but no feedback unless you're not updating quickly enough for their liking.

Wait, WHAT?! You don't leave feedback, but you can tell me when to update?!! "Update." ... "When is _____ going to be updated?" ... "Please update" ... "Bitch update" Whether you use your manners or cuss me (that actually happened to me, #ikidyounot), it's just not considerate of the actual writing process needed to produce this quality work you keep reading and giving no feedback on, fam. Not to mention I have an actual life that comes before writing. Like, I don't get paid to write sooo. How bout you vote or comment on the story, not how fast I'm updating, and maybe I will update? Maybe.

2. Frugal on the Feedback Readers - all of the reads, but random votes, one comment on the 30th chapter out of 30 chapters, votes for sex scenes only.

Yooooo I don't know what's worse -- no feedback at all, or barely there feedback! Like, you read Chapters 1-20, but only liked Chapters 1, 5, 11, and 19?!! WTF?! You read allll 30 chapters, and left one comment on the last chapter?!! You ONLY liked the Rated R chapters? I mean, I like a sex scene as much as the next person, but you did extra looking to make sure you only read those chapters? Like. You don't care about the story at all? K, thanks for the "support". Bye.

3. Inbox Interlopers - no introductions, no interactions on Wattpad, no idea how they feel about your writing, but they sendin you private messages.

How you gone ask for an imagine, strike up a conversation, or tell me to update when I literally don't know your name, and you've never even commented or voted for any of my stories so I don't even know if you actually like my stuff?! Why request an imagine if you've never read my imagines? Unless of course you're a ghost reader, which in that case, see 1, 1A, and 1B. Do people think respect and manners are only required in person? Who starts a conversation without introducing themselves? Call me stupid, but I don't get it.

4. Sloppy Spellers - the most basic of words are misspelled on the regular.

Y'all this ish affects my reading experience! And it might be the English teacher in me, but dang! We STILL don't know the difference between they're, their, and there?!! Don't get me wrong, I have typos just like the next person, especially when you update a lot on your phone, but some of this spelling is just devastating. Know and no? Accept and except? It's and its? Principal and principle? And my personal favorite: you're and your. One of those is TWO WORDS, y'all! Two. Lol I could do this all day, people! Please spell check. Please. I beg of you. If you really love writing, do right by it!
