SCARS || Newt Scamander

Twenty One

This chapter won't be the same in the movie, because I don't really remember how MACUSA caught them. And do any of you like the cover in the media? I might change it to that.

Tina and Queenie did catch up with the three, and so did MACUSA. MACUSA noticed Tina, Clara and Newt first, and captured them.

Tina, Clara and Newt were pulled into a room filled it MACUSA officials. One man sat at a desk, and Newt was forced into the seat in front of him. The man had a big, black bubble like thing - an obscurus.

"Newt Scamander, expelled from Hogwarts School Of Witchcraft and Wizardry at year four, for endangering a student's life." The man said.

"It was an accident." Clara interrupted, looking at the man. He and Newt ignored her.

"Your trials will be held shortly, and in the mean time," He turned to face another worker. "Destroy the case."

"What?!" Clara said, looking at Tina. She seemed upset about this outcome as well.

"Don't hurt my creatures! They're innocent!" Newt shouted as they were dragged out of the room and brought to the cells.

Now in the cells, it was complete silence. Newt was sitting in the corner of his cell, staring at his hands. Tina was leaning up against hers, and Clara was pacing her cell.

"That's barbaric." Clara said, continuing to pace.

"It truly is." Tina said.

"And it's your fault." Newt said, looking up at Clara.

"Excuse me? I thought I heard you wrong, did you say it was my fault?" She said, looking at Newt. Tina knew an argument was coming up.

"Yes, I did actually." Newt said, glaring at Clara.

"Well I'm sorry Mr. Scamander, but I don't see how this is my fault!" Clara argued, also glaring  at Newt.

"It is, because if you wern't here, this might have been different!" He said, standing up.

"Oh, maybe it would be different if you didn't come here! This place was running perfectly before you came in!" She snapped. Tina frowned.

"You know, a werewolf like you never should've existed!" Newt told her. Clara stared at him, not believing what Newt had just said. Tina gasped.

"Fine. If you truly feel that way...." Clara said, everyone could hear the hurt in her voice.

"Clara, I didn't mean it!" Newt said.

"No, I think you did Mr. Scamander," Clara's voice broke when she mentioned Newt's name, causing him to flinch. "After all, I am just a werewolf who never deserved to live." She then sat down in her cell and turned away from Newt and Tina.

Tina frowned, looking at both Newt and Clara. Yesterday, they had been best friends. A second ago, they were arguing, and now Clara refused to speak or look at Newt.

Tina had never known Clara was a werewolf, but now that Tina thought about it, the scratch still visible on her face gave it away, and how she was always sick around the full moon.

Newt sighed, and he glanced at Clara every now and then. The girl still hadn't moved from her position, she was still sitting down and staring at the wall. He swore she heard her sniff every now and then, and he hated himself for saying that to her.
