Remember when I told you, you would live a long life? I'm afraid I was wrong, so very wrong. Today you left me forever. Took your very last breath. It was misery to watch you go. I held your hand as you slipped away. You lived under your expectancy. I feel as if I could have done different. I'm sure I believed with all I had but perhaps I didn't. Maybe if I gaped a bit more.
