Kensi's POV

Four weeks had passed and I'm now eighteen weeks pregnant with my little girl and happier than ever. Deeks and Kylie had just got her nursery finished and I've got to say they did a pretty good job with it. Those two are very excited for Sahara's arrival even though we've got another five months before she's due

Deeks: baby do you think the carpet should be pink?

"I think the room is perfect just the way it is and Sahara will think so too" I told him after looking over the room one last time.

Deeks: about that, lately I've been thinking she's be more of a Madison, or Madeline

Deeks: about that, lately I've been thinking she's be more of a Madison, or Madeline

"I'm supposed to be the indecisive one, and you already sold me on Sahara, but since your not sure let's not share her name with anyone but Kylie" I suggested and he nodded in agreement "I'm having brunch with the girls, I'll see you in a few hours I told him before pecking his lips

Deeks: what am I supposed to do without my wife?

"I don't know, play with our son and maybe when I get back we can play" he smiled

Deeks: I'm looking forward to when you get back

"Bye babe" I said before heading out. I arrived at the Hanna house just in time. It was just kylie, Kara, Michelle and Kate today since Nell and Talia were both busy preparing for the Christmas

Michelle: hey Kens, how's baby deeks doing today?

"Each time I get pregnant are you guys gonna refer to my child as baby deeks?"

Michelle: that's the plan and Max reallt is your husband's twin

"That's true, and she's doing fine this morning. Deeks and kylie actually just put together her nursery that I think is absolutely beautiful" I complimented

Kylie: I'm glad you like it. I told dad we had plenty time, but he's just so excited for her to get here

"I think it's really sweet, and Max mirrors everything he sees his dad do, so he's just as excited to be a big brother" I told them "kate what about you, your baby's what? Seven months old now?" I questioned

Katherine: yep, Jack just turned seven months and like Max he's his daddy's twin. Rick's in love with that kid and so am I.

We sat catching up for a while over brunch before kara ran off to the nearest bathroom emptying the contents of her stomach into the toilet bowl. She said she didn't feel to great, but I guess that was an understatement

Katherine: you okay now care bear?

Kara: I'm fine, just a little nauseous

Michelle: you've been nauseous a lot lately, and your obviously not okay. Is there so something you need to tell us?

Kara: can we just let this go?

Katherine: please, God please tell me your not pregnant. I've been good with you moving out for school, I've been good with you moving in with your boyfriend but I'm not gonna be okay with this. Your eighteen years old, do you really think your ready for a baby? Just a few months ago I was still doing everything for you

She sat there silently which to Kate only confirmed her suspicions whereas Michelle seemed completely speechless

Michelle: I don't even know what to say. I need a drink, Kate do you want something?

Katherine: I can't, I'm still breastfeeding my son but you know I didn't expect to have a baby and a grandchild on the way, so maybe I'll give Jack formula. I could use some brown liquor

Michelle: coming right up

Kara: I'm...............

Katherine: don't speak right now. I've never been more disappointed in my life. I actually thought I raised a responsible young woman, but I was wrong. Do you think it's easy trying to finish school with a baby? I hope for this child's sake you start making responsible decisions instead of childish mistakes

Kara: my baby's not a mistake

Michelle: this is a mistake, all of this

Kara: I'm not asking you or my mom for anything. My baby doesn't need either of you, I'm perfectly capable of taking care of us on my own

Katherine: how do you expect to do that. Sure your book is doing good now, but that money won't be enough to take care of you and baby. Do you think school, a baby and holding down a job will be easy?

Michelle: seriously Kara have you thought about this? Aiden's training to be a navy seal, if he leaves then you'll be on your own with that baby

Kara: what do you suppose I do? Have an abortion? I'm keeping my baby, and I'm done with this conversation

She got up and left with Kylie following her. This day really didn't turned out as planned. I know raising a baby as a teenager isn't easy, but having no support from your family only makes it that much harder "guys I don't think stressing her out is helping" I told them

Michelle: she's had no problem stressing both of us out. Do you honestly think those two children are ready to be parents?

"Maybe not, but the baby's coming either way. I just think supporting her is a better choice than telling her how she can't do this"

Katherine: you'd be supportive if kylie moved in with wyatt and got pregnant?

"I'd be upset, but I'd have to accept it if I wanted to be in my grandchild's life" I told them

Katherine: I'm in my thirties, I shouldn't be a grandmother. I was her age when I got pregnant so I know how hard that is. I know you can understand where I'm coming from with this

"I do, I was just fifteen years old with kylie. I wanted to go back to my mom, but i had too much pride for that and she's not coming asking you for help after you exploded on her"

Katherine: I know, but all her I've babied her. Rick told me one day I'd have to let go. Today's that day, she's about to be a mom and I have to let her figure that out on her own. I'm not saying I won't help if she needs it, but I doubt she'd ask

Michelle: how about we talk about something different. I can't think about this right now, those kids have stressed me out enough for a lifetime and Christmas is around the corner. How about we get our holiday shopping finished up

"That's actually a good idea, Max has a long Christmas list and with his birthday the week after Christmas I've got a lot of shopping to do" I told them as we headed out together. I was more than happy to change the topic of discussion because Kara's unexpected pregnancy isn't putting them in the best mood
