Chapter 12

~Gon's POV~

I woke up to hear the sweetest voice "Good morning, Gon"

"Good morning (Y/n)"

I turned around and kissed her forehead.

"Can we go shopping today?"

"Sure"

"Yay! Let's tell Armin and Killua"

"I thought it was just going to be us"

"Don't worry, we can have a date another time"

~Time skip~

We went to the shopping mall and (Y/n) held my hand.

Her eyes lit up when she saw something.

"Can we go to that store first?"

I looked to where she was pointing and it was a store that sold teddy bears.

"Sure"

We looked at the shelves of teddies and I said "These teddy bears are cute but not as cute as you"

She laughed and it sounded angelic "Aww, thanks Gon. You're cute too"

"I'm going to look over here, okay? But don't come over"

"Why not?"

"It's a surprise"

"Fine"

I walked off and looked for what I was getting.

I found a teddy and brought it to the counter but my eyes widened in shock at what I saw.

"Hisoka?!"

"Hey Gon~"

"..."

"Looks like you should step up your game a bit"

I looked at where Hisoka was looking and Armin was extremely close to (Y/n).

I payed for the bear and put it in a wrapped box, inside a bag so that (Y/n) wouldn't see what it was.

I walked over to everyone and stepped in between (Y/n) and Armin.

Next, we went to the game shop and bought some games and a games console to play them on.

~Time skip~

The day was ending and I was getting jealous with Armin.

He was close to (Y/n) all day.

"That's it"

I shoved Armin so that he fell to the floor and looked at him angrily.

"I've had enough. Stop touching (Y/n), she's mine, not yours"

"Gon, stop!" (Y/n) said.

"I'm sorry (Y/n), but I can't ignore this"

"Please?"

I turned to look at her and saw that her eyes were watering so I stopped.

"What have I done? I made (Y/n) sad"

"Gon... I think we need to talk"

(Y/n) pulled me aside so that only I could hear her.

"...I-I can't do this anymore"

"W-Wait, what do you mean?"

"You keep on getting jealous at Armin and all I want is for you to be friends"

"I understand but I can't ignore the fact that he's trying to pull us apart"

"That's why..."

She took a big breath.

"I think we should break up"
