PEETAS POV
I woke up to Katniss kissing me, like I had always awoken her before "good morning beautiful" I complacent her. "Good morning sexy" Im not sure why but I just abosolutley love it when she calls me that. I tuck her bangs behind her ear and pop out of bed. Today Katniss Everdeen was going to be Katniss Mellark. I made Katniss some French toast with some eggs and a glass of milk and brought it up to her. "Aww peeta, you didn't have to do that! Your to sweet!" She exclaims. "Anything for Mrs.Mellark" I say. She finishes her breakfeast and we go downstairs and wait for her mom to come over to help her get ready for tonight. She comes in and gives me and Katniss hugs and congratulates us on our baby and our marriage. After a while I go over to Haymitch's house so he can make me look good for Katniss tonight. I walked into his house and he said, "You ready for tonight?" "No Im actually kinda nervous, i don't know why!" I responded. "Thats okay to be nervous, I would be a little nervous too" he confessed. "Hop in the shower and I'll pick you out something to wear!" She suggested. I go upstairs and take a shower. I dry off and put the towel around my waste, then I go downstairs to see what Haymitch had picked out for me to wear. I put it on and go to the bathroom and comb my hair back. Haymitch walks in. "Oh Katniss is one lucky girl" he said. I hoped she felt that way, Im sure i felt luck to be her husband.
KATNISS POV
I let my mom do my hair and makeup. It was really difficult for me to get my dress on because of my big belly, but I had managed to get it on anyways. "You look beautiful Katniss, Peeta is one lucky man!" She smirks. I was so luck to have Peeta in my life, I felt like the luckiest person in the world being able to marry him and have our child. I looked in the mirror and my mom was right, I did look pretty good looking today. "Are you ready?" "More than ever" I say. "Wait no I almost forgot! Who's gonna walk me down the aisle? Dads not here so-" I realize that I have another dad, Haymitch. I call him and ask if him and Peeta are ready and ask them to come over. Moments later Haymitch walks in. "What do ya need?" He questions. "Well I just realized there is nobody to walk me down the aisle, scenes my dad isn't here. But I realize I already have a father figure. Haymitch, will you walk me down the aisle?" I can see him start to form tears in his eyes. "Of corse I will sweetheart" he responds. We walk out to the meadow and Haymitch and I lock arms. I lock my eyes on Peeta as I walk closer and closer to him. I look strait into his beautiful deep blue eyes and stand right next to him. He pulls something out of his pocket. He opens up the box and there it is. The ring. There was a pearl i the center of it and thats the only thing i really payed attention to. "Is that?" "Yes" she responded to my question as if he read my mind. And he did, he knows me so well. He slides the ring on my finger and I feel my eyes start to water, but I hold them back. He hands me the other box and i open it up and take out his ring and slide it onto his finger. We kiss and the rest of the night is a blast from there. "You look awful handsome today!" I chuckle. "You look beautiful Katniss" he says and I kiss him. We cut the amazing cake Peeta had made. It was green and orange with pearls all around the edges of it. I took a handful of the cake and smirked it all over Peetas face when he wasn't paying attention. He started to laugh and took some cake in both hands and got me back twice as bad. We laughed at each other and covered each other in cake and frosting.
PEETA POV
Katniss covered my whole face in frosting, so I had to go wash my face clean. When we came back to the party we ate a lot of food and talked to everyone that came. It started to get dark out and the sun was setting "No older why you love the sunset so much, it's absolutely beautiful" Katniss admits. We look up at the orange sky until everything turns black and the music starts to play. "May i have this dance?" I say with a Capitol ascent and hold out my hand to her. "Sertainly" she says it in the same Capitol ascent as I did. "I don't know how to dance though" i chuckle. "Thats alright, Im not to good myself either" she said. We laugh and trip over each others feet al have a good old time. It was time for our dance of the night now, the music was slow and everybody was watching. She lay her had on my shoulder. "Peeta, I love you" i hear her whisper into my ear. "I love you more!" I whisper back and she starts to laugh a little bit. We totally get lost in the moment and i knew I would never forget tonight. I hear a loud noise and realize that Katniss had fell to the ground and the only thing I hear is the cry of her screaming,"PEETA!" I was scared to look down but I forced myself to do so anyways. I looked into her eyes and all I could see was pain. I knew she wasn't okay. I felt tears rushing down my face and i kneel down to her and scream,"Katniss, you'll be okay! Katniss Its okay!" But I know that it's not the truth. I pick her up as everybody is in to much shock to help me or do anything. Everybody just stood there frozen and speechless. "Somebody please help us!" I pleaded. Haymitch was pushing through everybody and told me to follow him to his car. I ran as fast as I could. Katniss has gained a lot of weight from her pregnancy but I won't let It slow me down. I rushed to the car and got inside as fast as possible. Haymitch slammed the gas peddle and i held Katniss in my arms while i was drenching her in my tears. But then I realized she was drenching me in her own blood. "Katniss?Katniss? Please talk to me!" "P-Peet-P-Peeta I'm so sorry" she whimpered as Haymitch slammed on his breaks I swung the car door open and carried her into the hospital. I was running as fast as I possibly could because she was loosing a lot of blood fast. I had no idea what was wrong with her, but i hoped he would be okay, I hope the baby will be okay too. "Kat stay with me!Don't close your eyes! Keep them open!" I tell her. The doctor rushes us to a room and he forced me to wait outside so he can fix whatever problem that there was. I wait outside the room balling my eyes out with myriad in my hands. I couldn't believe what has just happened. A few minutes later people start showing up to the hospital. Effie and Johanna are sitting next to me now. Effie is crying too but Johanna's eyes are watering but she looks like she's about to cry. Soon enough Annie and everyone else start to show up and we all just sit there in complete silence. Im so scared right now, I don't want to loose her, we had just been married for about an hour now, I don't want to loose her now! I don't ever want to loose her! Why do all of these bad things happen to her? Why cant they just happen to me? "Peeta mellark?" I hear a voice call out to me. You can come see Katniss now. I stood strait up and ran all the way to her. She was sleeping but at least she was still alive. She looked as pale as paper. She must have lost a lot of blood on the way to the hospital. She was still loosing blood, but not as much as before. "Would you like to see your baby Mr.Mellark?" "More than anything" I say. He walks over to me and sets her in my arms. It's a girl. It's our beautiful baby girl. I cant wait until Katniss sees what she looked like. She had brown hair like katniss, and a mix of both of our eyes, my chin and cheeks and she had a cute little noise like Katniss. I sat up on bed with her and held our newborn child in my arms for the first time. Haymitch peeps his head in the door and I tell him to come in. He walks in and sees the thing i was holding and kneels down next to her and he starts to shed a couple of tears. I've never seen Haymitch cry before. "Would you like to hold her?" "I'd love to" he responds. I carefully hand her over to Haymitch and I can see her start to smile. "I think she likes you!" I tell him. He looks over at me and smiles and I've never seen him happier than he was at this moment holding my daughter. "So Katniss is going to be okay right?" I ask the doctor. "Well I wouldn't say okay... She might wake up in a few days" "WHAT DO YOU MEAN SHE MIGHT WAKE UP!" "Peeta, she lost a lot of blood. She lost way to match blood. She may wake up in a few days, but there is a chance that she may not" he confesses. "NO NONONO! You cant say that!!! She will wake up and we are going to raise this child and live a long happy life right?!(" "peeta I cant promise you that and your just going to have to accsept it okay? I will try my best and do everything I can to do yo keep her alive. Just trust me." He tells me. I not and I look at Haymitch still holding my baby girl.they look so peaceful. I love Haymitch. And i love my new family member. But i really love Katniss. And if anything happens to her, I'm going to die in the inside and nothing could ever fix that.
