I run lush forest surrounds me. The sound of my beating hart explodes though my skull like a full symphony orchestra playing inside my head. How long have I been running for? Hours ? To me it seems more like days since I started this argues journey.

I know I'm running from something it has been so long I no longer know what exactly. The image of the vile creature I am running from las long since blurred in my minds eye. I only remember fragments of what comes for me , yet still with my blurred memory I know it was something ghastly. Something which belonged only in the most horrific of nightmares and yet somehow it walks upon this earth. I hear its howl far off in the distance like a thunder bolt cutting though the air. How many of them are there rampaging the forest? Thousands? Millions? All thirsty for a taste of my blood.

Little sunlight falls on the ground before me. The branches above intwine together forming a barricade for any rays of light attempting to smuggle though potential gaps. There was once a path here I remember long ago taking lonesome walks along the tracks of this forest. It was a place of tranquillity where I can be free from all that I feared. Now the path has long since overgrown , thorns tear though my skin, low laying twigs entangle around my foot dragging me to the floor. Crimson blood oozes from the wounds inflicted upon me by the brambles trickles down my leg.

I feel my veins pulsate inside my wrists as my hart desperately try's to keep up with my psyical state pumping blood around my body at an alarming rate. I know I cant carry on like this not for much longer. I feel my legs start to give out on me as my body weight becomes gradually harder to hold up. I cannot let them get to me. I must stay alive. For my kind. For the people I hold so dear to me.

I look up to the seemingly never ending trees around me. I feel although the forest has engulfed me into this dark evil tendencies. I never once new the true evil held deep with in this forest I once cherished. I gaze to the to the side of me coshes not to trip over any low lying twigs entangled beneath me. Then I see it. Its eyes illuminated within the forest. Staring straight at me. In that instant I feel the rage embedded deep within this horrific creature. I can't let it get to me. It will tear my flesh apart in the first instant it gets.

I run and I run deeper and deeper into the forest. Where am I going? I have long since lost sight of where I have once been and where a new path begins. For all I know I could be running about in circles. But I know I can let them catch up with me.

The trees suddenly come to and abrupt stop. Sunlight floods my eyes as my rtener quickly try's to adjust to the now vast quantities of light gushing though my iris. A pail Blue sky spreads out in front of me, clouds swirl intermingling with one swarm the the sky. An ocean sits far below me its valiant waves surging across the waters surface white horses gallop amongst them, eventually hitting there destination colliding with the jours of the cliff then flying out into the air before landing back in the water reddy to continue its cycle countless times over and over again.

There is nowhere for me to go. The creature lingers in the shadows to my left and my right. It still  makes it way for me behind and in fort I face a 50ft drop a one way ticket to the sea floor. Either way I go I know I want come back the other side.

I turn to see the creature who one way or another will take my life. It creeps from the shadows lurching ever closer towards me. Three more appear behind it forming a diamond shape. Theses must be the strongest of the pack. Its body of muscle somewhat resembles the physique of a wild bor and yet this this is about 5 times the size and 10 times the strength. Its tusks protrude from its lipless mouth dripping with salvia like a melted crystal. Its skin, thick like leather and from it extends long wire like fur. Though its eyes you can almost see the evil which lurks within.

I reach slowly cautious not to make any sudden movements to cause it to attack and get my sword at the reddy. I was not prepaid to go down without a fight.

Adeline pumps though my body as I prepare for the fight about to take place. I grip my sword in hand it's rough metallic handle cold agenst my skin. The creature strides forward its overly large claws stretching across the ground. It sniffs the air though a snout slightly to small for its face. Although this creature doesn't hold much mental capacity it makes up for it in shear size and muscular density. They are vastly superior to me in almost every way. I close my eyes as I succumb to the inevitably of the situation. I would lose and this vile creature would win.And yet even with theses thoughts glaring in my mind I stand my ground. I watched an empire burn. My empire burn to the ground at the hands of the thing controlling theses mortal creatures, a thing incomprehensibly more vile than what stands before me. I swore to myself I would watch her burn. See haw she likes it when the tables are turned and she is the one facing death straight in the eyes. But now I guess that day may never come. As my death bed has already been set out in front of me.

For a moment. Just one moment I allow myself to the privilege to feel a passing breeze flow past my face. That moment has past now. I reopen my eyes the creature stands snarling its teeth like shards of glass. I charge towards it unleashing my battle cry. As my sword gets millimetres from the creature another significantly smaller charges in front sacrificing its own life for it leaders. I watch as I plunge my sword deep into its dark evil hart. It falls before me as I stand back watching the light fading from it's eyes. I withdraw my sword from the wound as blood flys though the air a single droplet finding it's way to my face. I take a step back as the leader approaches me. It keeps lunging at me. Why isn't it attacking? I just killed one of it's own why wont it pounce and take me out in a single instant? The answer soon comes.

I'm on the edge thin are beneath me I'm falling... falling ... falling...
