Ally's POV;
I woke up to the sun shining through my curtains, what a lovely day. I got up and walked to the shower, washing and rinsing my body before getting out and wrapping a towel around me. I walked into my bedroom and looked in the mirror, seeing the picture of me and Elena in our cheerleading outfits, smiling and happy, before everything went wrong.
I sighed and looked at my cheerleading uniform, debating whether to quit or not. I knew that I was miserable at cheerleading, Caroline was always moody, bossing everyone around and let's face facts, I suck at cheerleading, always have. Me and Elena only joined it for the cute guys. I nodded to myself and knew my final decision, I was quitting cheerleading.
I got dressed and dried my hair before walking downstairs to see another note from my dad, I sighed and ate breakfast before hurrying upstairs to brush my teeth.
I met with Elena as she decided to drive this morning. I asked her "You doing cheerleading tonight?" She sighed and shook her head.
I smiled and said "Me neither, we're both quitters." She looked at me with a grin and asked "You quit too?" I nodded and mumbled "It made me miserable, we both know we only joined it for the cute guys in new jersey." Elena giggled and agreed "True." We laughed and got to school, I walked off and let her go talk to Stefan whilst I talked to Matt and Tyler.
I then caught up to Elena and Bonnie as we gathered with the cheerleaders, players and school students, all around Mr. Tanner, history ass and football coach. He started rambling on about how we would win and how they were lucky to have Stefan playing for them, I laughed and cheered with Elena as Stefan grinned proudly.
That's when I heard a bottle smash from behind me. I spun around and pushed past the cheering teenagers to see Tyler grabbing Jeremy by the throat, I charged towards them and pulled Tyler away, he fought back and released his fist into my face, not knowing it was me. I gasped and held my hand to my face, feeling a wave of pain flood through my cheek.
Tyler went to apologize when Jeremy pushed him again, Tyler punched Jeremy to the ground and repeatedly did until hero Stefan then came over and yelled "He's down! He's down, enough!" Stefan then grabbed Tylers fist which was raised in the air to punch Jeremy again.
Tyler spun around and punched Stefan in the chest, he stood there staring not feeling a thing, I watched as Jeremy scrambled around on the floor picking a piece of glass up and charging at Tyler, I screamed "Jeremy, no!"
Stefan pushed Tylers punch away and held his hand out but Jeremy mistook him for Tyler, slashing down into Stefan's palm. Both me and Elena gasped as Stefan gazed at his bloody hand, Elena ran to Stefan, Matt pushed Tyler away and I calmed Jeremy down.
I ran over to him and whispered slowly "Drop the glass, calm down Jer, look at me, look at me." Jeremy looked at Stefan in horror then at me before turning around and running away, I called out in worry "Jer! Wait!" He ignored me and carried on.
I sighed and turned around to see Stefan wiping his hand on his jeans and showing Elena a clear smooth uncut hand, how was that possible? It was another trait with being a vampire I guess. Miraculous and fast healing.
Stefan excused himself and walked around Elena, towards the changing rooms, ready for the game. Elena hurried over and asked "Are you okay? I can't believe he hit you!" She grabbed my face and looked at it, I had no idea what it looked like on the outside but it sure as hell hurt on the inside.
I whispered "I can't believe it either, but i'm fine." She nodded and said "I'm gonna go find Bonnie, are you sure you're gonna be okay?" I nodded with a smile as she smiled back and hurried towards the field full of students.
