CHAPTER 17- 5 MONTHS LATER: THE BABY'S GENDER

Ariana's POV

I had to go to the GP again to check the baby's gender. I wanted a boy and Louis wanted a girl, probably because of the dream he had.

I put on my shirt and jeans. I took my phone and went downstairs to see everyone sitting down.

"Damn Ari! You got so huge!!" said Liam.

Louis jabbed him in the ribs and his hands went up signalling he is sorry and that he's surrendering.

I giggled. "Just wait till 3 months time" and I laughed. "Louis? You ready to go?" I asked him.

He got up and nodded. I took my bag and we left. I got into the car and put my seat-belts on.

After 30 minutes we got to the GP and my midwife took me straight inside her room. I did the normal procedure and she put the gel on my stomach.

She got the scanner and she started looking for the baby. I saw Louis whispering something into her ear and she nodded.

She went to get the papers and came back after what seemed like 5 seconds.

"Congratulations. It's a boy" and I smiled at the word 'boy'.

Louis smiled as well but it wasn't a smile actually. It was a grin signalling he is planning something.

I saw Louis taking her outside and they came back.

Louis' POV

I told the nurse to lie to Ari about the gender so I can make a surprise room for the baby at home.

I remember when Ari moved in, she saw a room that was never opened. I told her it's a storage room. She just nodded and walked off.

Now that she is going to have our baby soon, I thought of making the storage room a baby room. I was going to find out the real gender while Ari will think its another gender.

The nurse came back with papers and I took her outside. She told me the real gender is a girl.

We came back and she told Ari it's a boy.

I smiled my smile, which wasn't actually a smile but more of a grin which means I'm planning something.

And that's what I'm gonna do.

I'm gonna need the boys to help me with this then.

"Thank you Miss Styles and I hope to see you here in a month for a check up" said the nurse.

"Thank you. Bye" Ari said as soon as she got out the door.

We got into the car with no paps this time.

We got home and Ari went straight to the kitchen because she was craving something sweet and sour.

I laughed and went straight to the boys.

"Guys! I have a perfect plan but I will need your help!"

"And what is your perfect plan then?" asked Niall.

"You see the spare room we have?" and they all nodded. "I wanna make the baby's room out of it" I said.

"What the baby's gender?" asked Harry.

"A girl. Ari thinks it's a boy since I told the nurse to tell her it's a boy so I can do the surprise" I said.

I saw Liam, Zayn and Harry high-five each other and stick out their tongues at Niall.

I looked at them confused.

"Me, Zayn and Harry bet each other it's a girl while Niall said it's gonna be a boy. We basically bet each other" said Liam and I nodded.

"Ok guys. Making a baby's room takes over 2 months so we have to get ready. Tomorrow we are going shopping for the furniture. Ari is staying with Sophie, Alexis, Danielle and Kyla at Danielle's for a sleepover so the house will be ours for the whole day tomorrow. Ok let's go!" I said and we all went upstairs.

We had pink paint that I brought 2 months ago hoping it would be a girl.

We painted the walls and we were done after 3 hours of hard work.

"Looks really nice huh?" said Zayn and we all nodded.

"Tomorrow we are getting the furniture. We are starting at 7 in the morning! And at 7 SHARP! I don't want to see any of you missing tomorrow! Meet me in the kitchen" and the boys nodded.

"Ok. So since it's 23:00 now, we might as well go to sleep since we have to get up at 7 sharp" said Liam.

We all nodded. "Night guys! And somebody lock this door ok? I don't want Ari coming in here!!" I said and left to mine and Ari's bedroom.

I saw Ari was sleeping already so I kissed her forehead and fell straight onto the pillow. I closed my eyes and fell asleep.
