I closed my eyes taking a break from watching the steam rise from the hot tub. Sitting in here clears my mind and gives me an excuse to take a break from the others. There are about twelve other people in the house and half of them I cannot stand. It's because they actually take the medication the doctors give them, how troublesome. It makes them walk around like zombies and in truth it makes them very sick. There are four of us that fake taking the medication which doesn't always work but it is work the risk. "You're lucky you have Jericho to watch after you while you sleep. If Yuudai were to find you, he'd have drowned you by now." I opened my eyes slowly to see Takumi standing there with Juno beside him. I scoffed and then sat myself up straight. "I wasn't sleeping. What are you doing out here anyways? I thought you were supposed to be tested this afternoon." Takumi shook his head and sat on the edge of the hottub a good distance away from Jericho who is sitting on the edge beside me. "No. They decided that Rei was more of a priority today. He started violently attacking a nurse this afternoon." I nodded thoughtfully, I've seen the Yurei surrounding him; trying to get his attention. He hasn't accepted that he is a necromancer like Takumi and I have so it causes him to lash out when the voices talk to him. "If that idiot found his match it wouldn't be so hard for him." Jericho said while roling his eyes. "I do have to agree with him this time, Takumi." Juno said quietly. Takumi doesn't like Jereicho very much and it is conflicting with our friendship sometimes and then Juno doesn't mind Jericho but doesn't go against Takumi as she knows he can forcefully send her away. Which he would never do. Every necromancer has a match in which we call Seishin, some of us find our matches sooner and some of us later but it is all enevitable. Our Seishin keep away Yurei that want us to do things for them. I've had the occasional Yurei be brave enough to talk to me asking me to send a message or a note to their loved ones that didn't know about their passing, but Jericho scares them off. Possesive being he is, although Juno is the same way. "It's surprising to me that he is strong enough not to take the drugs, yet won't accept what he is. A strange boy he is." I replied simply as I got up. Takumi passed me a towel as Juno shut the lid to the hot tub, Jericho sliding out before Juno crushed him. "It doesn't matter really, he isn't going to benifit us in the future." Takumi said as we went to head back inside. I motioned for him to shut up as we entered the home. Aster Home is the nice way of saying that we are in a mental institituion. Everyone on the outside knows what this place is and what kinds of people live here. It's obvious to. . . "Ah, look." Takumi said abruptly. I turned in the direction in which he was pointing and frowned a bit. "That guy is here?" "I hate him. I wish we could get rid of him like we did the rest." Jericho said as he prodded me to continue upstairs. Eiji Hanzo is the man that runs this institution, we weren't expecting a visit from him until next week. He comes in to check up on our progress every few months. . . "We can't get rid of him. It would be hard to blame his death on Rei or even Renjei for that matter." I told Jericho softly as we passed some of the staff. "We'll it would be alot nicer without his presence." The boy complained. "We'd be out of here you dimwit if he were dead." Takumi snapped as I opened the room to my door. This place does not allow easy access or exit, there are multiple cameras placed around the house and all of the doors are locked by code. I could easily hack into them but that would only be one of the barriers to jump over. We get an outing every weekend but even that is supervised to the extent that we couldn't leave without being noticed. Our group is so small as well that our presence is crutial. "Oh, Hiro - Chan. We have been looking for you." A nurse said as she and a doctor came into the room. "Isn't it common decency to knock before entering someone's room?" Jericho asked, sitting himself down on my bed. I ignored him for the moment and gave the staff a small grin. "You were looking for me?" "It's time for your medicine." The doctor said with a polite smile. "Very well. Thank you." I said as I took the pills into my hand as well as the glace of water the nurse offered to me. Takumi busied himself with the books on my shelf, pretending not to watch, but I could tell that he is. I plopped the pills into

my mouth all at once, hiding them under my tongue quickly before swallowing down the entire glass of water. "Thank you Hiro - Chan. Remember that you have a check up tomorrow morning, okay sweetheart." The nurse said before she and the doctor left. "Come on give them to me." Jericho said as he held his hand out. I rolled my eyes and dropped the pills into his outstretched hand. "That is so gross." Takumi commented. "They burn our hands if we touch them. I'm sure Juno does the same for you." I snapped at him as Jericho moved to dispose of the pills. "Yeah, yeah, I know. That's why all the doctors and nurses wear gloves. Once saliva hits the pills they burn anything that is outside of the human body." I nodded while moving to search for my hoodie. This place will hopefully burn in hell and when it does, it will be because I caused it.
