Chapter 8

"Ah Mr. Malik how nice of you to join us, please have a seat," the principal said smirking slightly.

Zayn sat down in the chair next to me and across the principals desk. Then he turned to face me making me gulp slightly.

"Zoe what "disciplinary issues" we're you having on your first day of school?" Zayn questioned gritting his teeth.

Then my terrible principal interrupted, "Well Zoe here, was on her phone Mr. Malik, which is not allowed at this school. Then she went on to talk back to me when I asked her for it."

Zayn sighed and rolled his eyes at the guys words. "Well were you on it during a class Zoe?"

"No! It was during lunch and I wasn't talking back, I was simply explaining that it was my first day and I didn't know school rules yet," I told Zayn.

"Young lady we did not ask you for your opinion. So there for I think it is only suited that you have after school detention for the next week," the principal put in.

"Actually as a matter of fact I did ask for her opinion. She does not deserve a week of detentions she doesn't deserve a punishment period," Zayn argued. "Let's go Zoe, you are no longer going to be attending this school."

Zayn and I walked out of his office and I walked out to see a horrifying sight. Daniel and Lenna were leaning against a locker, making out.

I gasped out loud making Zayn turn around. He followed my line of sight and clenched his fists.

"Daniel!" Zayn yelled. "How dare you do that to my little sister! She loved you, no one and I mean no one messes with my family. Try to talk to her, even look at her again, and you'll be dealing with me."

Zayn wrapped his arm around my shoulders and led me outside to his car. He helped me inside and I wept.

"Shh Zoe, I know it hurts but he's not worth your tears. It wasn't meant to be if he couldn't respect you. You'll find someone perfect for you when the time is right, I know you will," Zayn told me softly.

"You're right Zayn, thanks for being there for me and being a good older brother. I love you," I told him.

"I love you too Zoe," he said kissing my head.

All of a sudden the front door burst open and Perrie's voice rang out from downstairs.

"Zayn, Zoe! I have great news!" Perrie exclaimed.

Zayn and I shared a questioning look and headed downstairs.

"What is it babe?" Zayn asked walking over to Perrie and pecking her lips.

"Well Zayn it looks like you're going to be a father and Zoe is going to be an aunt!" Period exclaimed with joy.

Zayn hugged Perrie carefully and put his hand on her stomach. They looked perfect together and I couldn't help but feel a bit sad. I was so excited about having a niece or nephew. I congratulated the two and headed upstairs.

Hey guys, I know it's been a while since I updated. And to be honest with you I've lost inspiration for this book.... I know a lot of you are probably upset to hear that, but don't worry. I'm not deleting it. I plan to write a few more chapters to just sum everything up, write and epilogue and mark the book as completed.
