Shelter

I walked the crimson path of fate. Knowing it would always lead me home. And as each event in my life continued I learned more and more about what had happened in reality. 

So I questioned and spoke.

"What will become of me from now on?" I questioned before.

"After some time," I continued, "I stopped thinking about that."

"Nothing changes anymore." I spoke again.

"Each and every day continues on," I opened my mouth to speak, "But I'm not lonely."

"It doesn't bother me at all," I never knew that even if I was dreaming a sad smile painted its way across my face. 

I didn't feel alone anymore, so I knew what to do, I began to sing, a sweet lullaby in this moment of never ending trust.

"Even if those memories make me sad," I began, feeling tears fall down my cheeks, "I've got to go forward believing in the future."

I took a deep breath, "Even when I realize my loneliness," I sighed again, "And I'm about to lose all hope." 

My smile grew, holding sorrow, and sadness, "Those memories make me stronger. I'm not alone... Because of you."

I smiled looking at the dreamed sky, "Thank you."

I continued to look at the sky, my smile holding sorrow, sadness, love, and hope.

With my song ended. My memories collided creating tears of hope fall to the ground. Each one hit the reality. Tears collapsing to the steel floor as I continued to sleep on here.
