Let me paint you:
A canvas abandoned for ages,
With my dry colors and broken brushes.
Let the palette bring out,
The rainbow on your knees,
Let your anger drown,
In the sunset sea:
Orange, yellow,
To a violent red,
From a purple hue,
To subtle shadows.

Let me paint you
A peaceful slumber,
Away from the cacophony,
Under the covers,
Under the brilliant stars,
And a warm wind's usher,
To guide you through the night,
Until your breathing evens,
And itself becomes a lullaby,
Let me paint you,
The way you want,
Just omitting the disbeliefs,
And turning them to convictions.

There will be splatters here and there,
Some mistakes, some colors misfit,
Some unintended lines, some unattended dots,
Some too light, some too deep.

But beneath it all,
Was a canvas blank before,
Now draped in colors,
It once never knew.

Let me paint you:
A canvas abandoned for ages,
With my dry colors and broken brushes,
So your eyes remain dull no more.
