Chapter 3
Aranea's POV
"Good afternoon, class. We will play a riddle. Every riddle na masasagot nyo ay madadagdag sa points sa next quiz nyo." He said and we all listened. Ano nanamang pakulo nitong professor namin? Noong isang bes ay pinasayaw nya kami ng gummy bear dance. Just what the heck, man? Gummy bear dance? Seriously? Ugh. Well, I have nothing against that song—dance. But masyado yatang pangbata 'yun para sa'min. Like, hello? Fourth year college na po kaya kami.
All of us danced because if you don't you'll dance it front of your classmates and I'm not gonna do that. Ugh. It was so awkward knowing that Theo were just beside me and he's dancing, too! I just laughed while dancing to cover the embarrassment na nararamdaman ko that time. Theo enjoyed dancing.
Flashback
"Dance, Ara, or you want to dance later in front." He said while dancing. I frowned pero sumayaw pa rin ako. Hindi ko talaga gustong sayawin 'to. Hindi ko alam kung bakit trip na trip ng professor naming na ipasayaw sa'min 'to. Unang beses naming sinayaw 'to nung nagpaseminar 'yung dating senior naming. Ice breaker daw.
Damn it! imagine we're dancing it while wearing our formal attires. They don't want us to sleep daw kasi while nagttalk 'yung inimbitahan nilang speaker so they made us dance. We had no choice because they blackmailed us! For pete's sake. At first nakakatawa pero habang tumatagal at paulit ulit ayoko na, pangbata kasi at hindi na nga kami bata.
I look at Theo and he's still dancing, "You're enjoying, huh." I said and he looked at me while still smiling and dancing, "Of course. Ang kulit kaya. Come on, dance." He said and I rolled my eyes, "I'm dancing. It's just that you're more energize to do it than me." I said still frowning.
I was taken aback when he held my hands, I look intently at him but he just freaking smiled at me. Shit, ang gwapo nga. She let out a chuckle, "Dance," he said and it was like magic that I dance the gummy bear and he's still holding my hand. Dancing and not letting me go.
I bite my lip while dancing, suppressing my smile. My heart becomes erratic and I don't know why. Hanggang sa matapos 'yung sayaw ay nakakapit lang sya sa kamay ko. Hindi ko alam pero hindi ko ito binabawi sa pagkakahawak nya. Tumingin ako sa mga kaibigan ko at lahat sila ay nakangisi sakin and I grinned at them. Ha! Theo's holding my hand. Lissy winked at me and I laughed.
"That was fun," Theo said after dancing. Umupo na kami at tumingin naman ako sakanya, "Yeah, fun." I murmured and he let out a chuckle, "Ayy, nako, Ara, ang saya kaya sumayaw, nakakabuhay ng dugo." Sabi pa nya at napatawa naman ako sa tinuran nya sa'kin. Dancing is fine with me but I love singing more than dancing.
"Mahilig ka bang sumayaw?" Tanong ko sakanya at tumango naman sya sa'kin, "Yep. Lahat kaming family. Bonding naming 'yun. Ikaw ba ayaw mo sumayaw?"
"Hindi. Dancing's fine." I said smiling at him.
"I see." He said and I smiled, "Let's try to cover a dance some times."
"I think that's a good idea." We both smiled at each other. I'll look forward to it.
End of flashback
"Babe, since it's Thursday, why don't we go to bar? You know boys, and drinks." Zelle said and we all looked at her, "What? Minsan lang, oh. Bago man lang tayo magpakalunod sa pagaaral, ba't di muna tayo magpakalunod sa alak?" natatawang saad nya samin kaya naman napailing na lang ako sakanya. Kaso, ako papayagan magbar? Isang malaking asa.
