Oh my, it has been a long time...
Where have you been x-submarune-? Been everywhere and nowhere. Being lazy. Again! So neglectful, too.
So anyways, I've been thinking up some stories and realized one thing. As much as I'd really love to be... I am not a Pantser. I can create shizz up on the fly, and though it's generally useable, it always needs a lot of work to make sense. On another account of mine, I have a sci fi story set on a space station, but that part's not important. What I did was assemble categories of altered or artificial beings, but I haven't figured out a way for it all to come together and make sense.
1. Chroma: superior humans genetically altered in the womb.
2. Biosynthetic Cyborg: A fully functioning 'human', whose parts were individually grown and assembled in a factory-like setting or lab. Similar to Chroma in that they can have parents, but they're not born from a human womb. Usually physically superior to Chroma and normies, not always mentally.
3. Android: your typical advanced, designed, artificially intelligent machine with human skin and very real emotions. Generally superior to humans, Chroma and Synth Cyborgs, if not for various handicaps put into their designs.
4. Bots: servant bots, without a 'skin' or autonomous intelligence. Anyone can own them, and they're basically C3P0 without the lip service.
Ugh... I struggle to keep Cyborgs an Chroma in separate categories. Oh, and what about body mods and implants?!! Slay me now, oh gods of writ and pen...
