!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I can't believe I finished this book. OMG I am so excited and I hope you all loved it! Here are a few frequent questions I was asked, answered:
Will there be a sequel?
As of now, I am planning on a sequel. Come on, I couldn't leave you guys—or myself—on that cliffhanger. But just know it is not going to be my very next book. I am going to attempt at getting this book published and put on bookshelves, although I don't know how successful I will be. If that happens, I will definitely positively absolutely write a sequel. If it doesn't, I will still probably write one, it just might be after one or two more books are written. Is Louise dead?
Well, I will not tell you that. I can just tell you that, since there will be a sequel, I suppose you can figure out her fate from there;)Where was Pudgy? Where were all the adults in this book?
As you know, Pudgy was a very new dog. She stayed with Selena, and then she stayed at Louise's house. She was still in the house, but I think Walsh would definitely have killed her if she was in the way and I don't think I could bear for a dog to die... As for the adults, Emmett's parents were splitting and going through some things at their own parents' houses. Louise's are obviously dead, and Selena's mom was a recluse, staying in almost always because of the devastation at their recent loss and her daughter's death and Walsh. Walsh appeared, and we all know how that turned out.How did Louise live at all after that attack?
Almost immediately, Selena called her doctor/friend Jessica, and most of the severe bleeding was stopped by huge amounts of pressure and stitches. I am aware that she probably would have been better off with a blood transfusion, but where would she get that on such short notice? It is fiction, so she could make it without one;)Will there be a different POV in the sequel?
*drum roll...*
YES. The sequel will be in Emmett's POV while he is in college. I'm super excited about it, although I've never really written in a boy's POV and figure it will be a little challenging since I am, in fact, a girl.Well, there you have it. If you have other questions, just comment and I'll reply with an answer. I'm SO excited to write the sequel, but I just need a small break after the stress Louise and Emmett cause me. I think you all can agree that those characters are particularly stressful.
Also, I am starting a new book, Senseless, and it should be up VERY soon;) Y'all should definitely go check it out.
UPDATE: The sequel to Stay Close is now up. The title is Too Far:)
