Remor hissed as his body slithered through the midnight sky, his body like a black ribbon lace being twirled about by an invisible dancer, probably being used under his or her will. He looked to the right, then to the left, analyzing the habitats of the mortals: tall building, statues, parks, fountains, rail roads...it humored him and made him cackle with delight.
"These mortals," he said to himselfn his tail eddying behind him as his front paused, "look at what they've built. A society, a pesky little world. They think it's perfect! Wonderful!" He grunted a flew low. "They are wrong to think that."
Upon flying lower to where the mortals could stand and walk, hus body became transparent to thier eyes. All the light pollution made himself disappear, yet he was there, like dark matter (perhaps he is made out of dark matter if you were to think about it). Remor traveled with the speed of the cars, only a few feet above them. It was a calm night.
"They drive these boxes for their own needs, destroying their world while doing so."
He caught a glimpse of a poster and glided his way over to it. To sum up it's detail, it had a multi colored flag on it, one that made Remor's eyes burn. It was a rainbow and around that was a red circle with a line diagonal as if it marked out its diameter. The text at the bottom said: "this is what poisons society." Remor checked his surroundings again amd noticed that some people walked with the same rainbow on various clothing, yet they were happy and seemed to not see the poster. Remor chuckled.
"Again, look at what mortals do. They attack what is different yet some fight back and embrace the difference. Whatever these multiple colors mean obviously has conflicted some higher mortal but...why would they even care? No one shares a life or soul! A mortal's choice is ome of their own."
Swiftly, he zoomed back up into the air and looked about him some more. A small boy walked down the street, his eyes filled with pain amd his face frozen in despair. Mortals behind him hooted and shouted vulgar things at him. A single tear rolled down the boy's cheek and he quickly wiped it away.
"Just go kill yourself, loser!" A bulky young man called to him.
Remor watched this scene. "Mortals think that words are stronger than actions. Well...they can be on some occasions, that boy looks like he'd really follow that other mortal's words and take his own mortality! Dear Devil, they'll kill off their own kind with words like that before the world crumbles!"
Remor had enough and took off toward the woods, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. "Oh dear Devil! And these mortals think we're the monsters! Ha!" He cackled and roared with laughter. Maybe if he had paid more attention to the ground, he would have noticed a black cat walking about, and the future path of a little girl and a man walking toward it.
