Yo, I've been inactive lately. Oops.
So far I am not sure when I will be updating The Nanny...hopefully within the next month or two. Since I'm officially on winter break (for a whole month). Also, I'm not emotionally ready for the story to end so I postpone writing it as often as possible.
Anyway, I like this story and I have been writing it a lot lately. I think it'll be a crowd pleaser (except for a few things ;)). And, I mean, Andrew is hot so...
Alrighty, enjoy this. I'll probably give you 2 chapters tonight just because I love you guys!

Chapter 7
In nearly a week, it wouldn't be Andrew leaving me, but I would be going to college. Just when our relationship started to bloom, one of us was going to leave and mess it up.
I made the best of every minute I spent with him. We weren't alone as frequently as I had hoped because Lain thought he had to spend every waking moment with Andrew, but just being next him, being able to touch him, was enough for me.
I stopped by Auten's to pick up my check one day and my boss was there waiting for me. I felt bad interrupting his work when the place was flooding with people, but I needed my paycheck. Thanks to that very persuasive woman at the mall two weeks ago, I had already spent most of my last one.
Ross greeted me with a smile. "Hello, Miss Ronnie. Here for your check?"
I nodded and he went to the back to retrieve it. I saw the amount and nearly fainted. "Um, Gus, I think this is wrong. I didn't work that many hours."
While he poured tea for a woman, he laughed. "I gave you a raise. I didn't tell you that?"
"Is this the face of a girl that knows?"
He laughed again. "Well, you've been earning a larger amount for several weeks now."
"Gus! What the hell?" He was possibly the only authoritative figure that let his employees call him by his name or shout at him without any reason. If there was one thing he hated, it was being called "sir." He was the best employer, in my opinion. "I mean, thank you for the promotion and everything, but you could have at least let me know."
Andrew's hand grazed my waist, making me tingle.
"You're welcome. Hey, so when do you leave for college, Missy?"
"Next week. But don't worry, the university is only fifteen minutes from here so I'll still be able to work." College was so close now. I still hadn't completely wrapped my head around it.
He nodded, placing his hands on his hips. "That's what I hoped. I want you to be the new manager."
My heart literally stopped. "M-manager?"
"Yeah, only if you want it."
Behind me, Andrew pressed his lips to my temple. "Congrats, babe."
Babe.
"Are you kidding me? I would love to!" I shouted, but lowered my voice when I realized customers were surrounded us. "Thank you so much, Gus. Really."
"There's no one I would leave this place in the hands of than you." He held up a finger and disappeared to the back.
I faced the gorgeous man behind me. "Oh my God," I mouthed.
He smiled. "I guess that's your reward for being a kiss-ass."
