Despite the fact that pack mates are family, there seems to be a common theme of abuse, rape, and metal disorders in these books.

They often beat them until they fall unconscious, Alpha's seem to have a inferiority complex, packs always seem to have a traitor, and despite all of the disgust surrounding omegas the antagonist always seems to have the desire to impregnate them. Saying mine has also became an issue. The obsession they have with their mate also unnerving.

The omega in question always seems to write a note that makes everyone realize what they did wrong.

She moves to a new pack, trains, and is loved by her new family. However that's not enough for her, when she gets a call from her old pack, accepts, and hides her identity. She then helps the pack with occasional visits from her mate. They get back together and marry. They seem to have a issue with independence because she always goes back to her original mate.

I do wish that she would just kill him but... maybe that's just me.
