(Somebody stole my heart, and I was searching for it with no consequence....)
It was somebody whose heart couldn't be mine,
Yet 'somebody' stole my heart away from me.
She held a spell so powerful of a wicked charm,
Even the rainbow failed himself
To outwit her spell.
But victim was I,
No less with a swollen breast,
Pricked and inflated by the pain of treachery.
It was somebody I saw in the woods,
With my heart away she went
And away, and away I went after 'somebody',
Until I was lost in the woods
And my conscience faced my ire,
"How futile could I be!'
"How gullible could I be!"I was lost, and my soul too...
