Here we grieve the tragic loss
Of all who failed to love
Of those who missed the greatest gift
From Father up above
Today we gather in His name
Together here we pray
We mourn for those forever dead
Trapped in their own decay
Our sorrow reaches up to heaven
Floating on the silver wind
For those loveless, hollow souls
Who only loved their sin
The dead have never felt our joy,
Have never heard our song
Our tune just flew right past their heads;
They never sang along
I’ve never felt a grief so great
That I hesitate to tell
But still my sorrow must remain
Lest I lose love as well
So here we grieve yet carry on
Together here we’ve gathered
Mourning, but in thought secure
Our love will last forever.

SpiritualI always manage to pull through the day, if only for those six hours in the silent night, where my imagination shapes reality and even the darkness can hold the tiniest glimmer of hope.
