You had finally done it. You bit onto your tongue as you ran from the empty classroom. What had you done? You had finally put a love letter into Hikaru's desk, confessing your love for him. You had always admired Hikaru because he was so blunt. Him and his brother, Kaoru, were known for being outsiders, but after 'observing' them for a while, you noticed that they are exactly like other people, and yet considerably more interesting, and Hikaru was so attractive. True, Kaoru was too since they were twins, but Hikaru was the one that caught your eyes.

Running to the school entrance, you saw your friends. "Misa! Asuna!" You called to them. The two girls turned around, smiling as soon as they saw you. Misa, clad in her scene goth clothes, ran over to you and jumped onto you, hugging you with her feeble arms. Asuna straightened her long coat.

Misa tilted her head and jumped off you. "Why are you still in your uniform? Aren't you going to the Suzuya party tonight?" She asked. You smacked your head.

"Of course! I forgot! I had to-" You stopped yourself short. "That doesn't matter."

Asuna smiled, clipping her hair back with a French barrette. "Did you give the letter to the Hitachiin that you like?"

You blushed. "Uh, I- well... yeah I did." You muttered.

"Cute. Anyway, let's go and get you changed!"

"(Y/N), you can really pull off that look." A drunk teen complimented you. You were wearing a white shirt and (E/C) corset to match your eyes, along with black jeans and black boots.

Smiling awkwardly, you gave him a thumbs-up and scuttled to the back. As you leaned against the cool wall, you noticed Hikaru on the other side of the room.

"Oh, great." You turned and ran from the room. You pulled out your phone and texted Asuna, telling her you were leaving.

The next morning, you woke up with a smile on your face. You had had a dream about becoming the Queen Of The Ball for the Dance Ball that the headmaster was holding in a week.

"Good morning, Mistress (L/N)." Your smokin'-hot, demon butler, Sebastian, opened the curtains. A small boy with silver hair pushed a cart of breakfast in, bearing his usual deadpan.

"Good morning!" You smiled happily. Ciel, the small boy, nodded at you, carefully lifting a cup of tea over to you. You smiled at him and took the cup, sipping it slowly.

After handing you your clothes and bag, Sebastian and Ciel left the room. You ate your breakfast and finished off the tea.

Before you left for school, you called for Sebastian and Ciel. "Sebastian! My friend said she saw a stray cat outside yesterday night! If you see it, feel free to bring it home! Just make sure you keep it away from Ciel. As for you," You looked toward the younger servant. "I have loads of cakes in my fridge. Finish them all off if you want! Oh, and when I get back, invite the Jaeger boy over!"

You ran outside and hopped into your limo. In the limo, you picked up Asuna and Misa. Both girls gave you a ten minute scolding each.

"--so you should've stayed!" Misa finished.

"Hahaha... nope." You looked out of the window. "Anyway, we're here now." You smiled at the angered looks on your friend's faces.

The limo stopped, and so you and your friends hopped out, waving at the driver, Tanaka. "Have a good day, Mistress (L/N)."

"You too, Tana-san!" You waved happily.

As he drove off, you checked your watch. "Oh, we have ages." You told your friends. "Lessons start in fifteen minutes."

"Ah! Good! I promised Light that I'd meet him in the English room! Bye!"

"Yeah, and Kazuto told me to meet him in the fencing hall! I'm sorry, see ya' guys!"

Just like that, you were left alone. Sighing, you scratched the back of your head. "I'll just walk around then."

Soon enough, you found yourself standing in front of a fountain in the school garden. The water as it landed at the bottom was beautiful. The ripples it made, the sound of the splashing, all of it was amazing. You looked at your reflection in the mirror.

"What is with this uniform?" You asked, hitting the puffy part down. "Maybe the headmaster likes lemons, but I sure as hellfire don't."

"(Y/N)." Someone called out from behind you. "It's Kaoru."

You stopped attacking the dress and turned around. You recognised that voice, but when you turned around, it wasn't who you thought. "Kaoru...?"

Kaoru was standing on the stairs leading to a long, outside corridor. You looked up at him in confusion and a tiny insy-winsy bit of nervousness.

"Yeah. (Y/N), I got your letter. It was meant for Hikaru, wasn't it?" Kaoru held up the envelope in his hand, waving it slightly. Your face tinted red.

"Oh, uh, yeah." You nodded. I had put it in the wrong desk? I was sure that was where Hikaru sat!

Kaoru sighed, running a hand through his hair. "I thought so." He put on a pained smile. "It's a shame."

"Hmm? What is?" You asked, only becoming aware that he was walking towards you. Stopping just a foot in front of you, he held the side of your face and stroked your cheek.

"I went to the Suzuya party yesterday to look for you, but when I did see you, you had already ran away." He smiled. "Wouldn't it be okay if you chose me instead of Hikaru?"

Ah, now I get it.

You furrowed your brows slightly, smirking "Nope. I love you, not your brother."

Kaoru looked confused. "What do you mean?"

"Hikaru, I know you're not Kaoru." You answered him. "I love you. Not your brother. It's as simple as that."

Hikaru blinked in confusion. "What?"

You smiled, looking behind you. The real Kaoru emerged from behind a tree, his eyes wide in shock. "You can tell us apart?" He asked, joining Hikaru by his side.

You looked between them and nodded. "Your personalities are slightly different." Standing on the tips of your toes, your narrowed your eyes, staring at Hikaru's own eyes. "And your eyes give off different messages, they have a different feeling around them." Relaxing your feet, you checked your watch. Great. You were going to be late at this rate.

"(Y/N)..." Hikaru whispered. Kaoru turned to his brother.

"Hikaru! She can tell us apart!" He shook his shoulders.

"Anyway, I must be going. Excuse me." You bowed your head and stepped around them, hurrying to the first lesson.

"Wait!" Hikaru grabbed your hand. Turning your head, you stood stunned. Tilting your head, he carried on. "Are you going to the Dance Ball next week?"

"Yes, I am." You nodded. Hikaru nodded with you.

"Good. I'll pick you up at six. A-And come to the host club today!" He stuttered.

You beamed. "I always do!"

"And des-"

"Yes, Hikaru. I'll designate you!"

Hikaru let go of your hand. "I'm glad." He replied, the softest of smiles adorning his features.

You waved to the twins, running off to your lesson. Kaoru put an arm around his twin.

"You better hold onto her." He smirked.

"What? Why?" Hikaru wondered.

Kaoru moved away and stood on the steps. "I've taken a liking to her."

"You're Hikaru! And the one holding the letter is Kaoru!" Another voice sounded behind Hikaru. Turning around, they saw Tamaki, pointing at the twins. "Tell me, did I get it right?!"

The twins sighed. "Nope."
