CHAPTER THREE

We always take the same bus to school.

You sat as usual in the back. I sat down a seat in front of you.

I wanted you to see me. I wanted to see your eyes, a light green with yellow lines.

You just stared out the window.

I often imagine that I would sit down next to you, even if i would never do it.

You would turn your head and look at me.

A smile would spread across your face. I would smile too,

And then I would introduce myself.

And you would laugh, and say "I know who you are"

But I never sat down beside you.

So we never talked.
