It's 12:00 pm...
It's December...
And tonight like any other night, it's filled with restlessness and longing.
It has now been approximately a week in which Zen hasn't been sleeping and eating like he's supposed to.
Currently, Zen was outside his front door. Smoking a cigarette, he exhales a large grey cloud and sighs as he stares into the sky.
Zen looked at the sky, he always liked looking at the sky when he thought of her... MC....
Zen took another drag at his cigarette and then threw it to the ground and crushed it with the tip of his shoes. At that minute, he completely broke down. His legs gave out and collapsed on his knees on the concrete of his front door. He began to feel tears roll quickly from his eyes and fall to the floor, staining the concrete. He began to feel his emotions that he had bottled up begin to escape the closed bottle and begin to take over him. This had all started when he had met MC.
She was different than any other person he had met. She understood Zen better than anyone. She comforted Zen on his personal worries and his family issues. She was the one that helped Zen when he believed that no one would even turn to look at him. To him, she was the spark in a dark cold room. Zen had his world turned upside down by this single human being. She taught zen to see the world in a completely different perspective and that it was okay to have fault. She taught Zen that faults were what made people so beautiful and different. Zen felt that his world was for MC and no one else. That only MC could untangle his faults and make them manageable. Yet it seemed that MC didn't reciprocate the feelings.
The princess had gone into the hands of another. It didn't matter to who's, Zen knew that he had lost... he didn't want to accept it. He wanted to wake up and realize that it was all just a terrible nightmare that had crept its way into Zen's heaven.
Yet it seemed that the princess was deemed another ending, that didn't involve zen.
Zen wiped his tears with his shirt's sleeve. He felt something begin to bother him in his jeans. He pulled it out and saw " 200 missed calls" on the front screen. Under that message were others."Where are you zen?" From Yoosung
"Zen, please call me when you read this this" from Jaehee
"Zen, stop making everyone worry and call us back!" From Jumin
"Answer for god sake Zen!!" From 707
And hundred of similar messages, yet ones that caught his eyes the most were ones that were labeled "from MC"
"ZEN ANSWER YOUR PHONE!"
"PLEASE! WE NEED TO KNOW YOUR OKAY!"
"Zen tell us what's going on!"
"Why won't you talk to us?!"
"Did I do something wrong?"
"ZEN, PLEASE TELL ME WHAT I CAN DO TO HELP YOU!"
"Zen"
"Zen"
"..."
"ZEN!!"
"I SWEAR!!"
"GOD DAMN IT ZEN!! ANSWER THE DAMN PHONE!!"
"Please Zen!"
"We need to know if your okay!"
"I need to know if your okay..."Zen stared at his phone expressionless. He gripped it a little tight and threw his phone down on the concrete floor. Zen's phone was now a million pieces scattered everywhere. Zen began to get up and head into his home.
Few minutes later he came back outside with six beer cans and sat back down on his concrete steps. He skillfully cracked a can open and chugged it down. When the can was empty, Zen crushed it against his head and threw the can into the near by grass. Zen opened another beer yet didn't drink it yet. He pulled out his lighter and box of cigarettes.
He opened the small cardboard box and saw 6 white ends sticking out from the box and grabbed one and placed it gingerly in between his teeth. He then capably ran his finger over his lighter to light it. He neared his cigarette towards the open flame and inhaled the venom. He breathed out and looked up towards the star-filled sky. He grabbed his open beer and raised it up to the air."Cheers to my princess..." said Zen as he stared up into the void with tear filled eyes.
