Chapter 6: Payback

Emily POV

tonight is Payback and the night where I teach Roman Reigns a lesson not to mess with me

I went to my makeup desk and did my makeup as I was already dressed in my ring attire after I finished my makeup I curled my hair then  I got up and went to the shield locker room and got in without knocking and didn't see anyone so I sat down on the couch and scrolled through my phone then they got in I got up and walked to Roman kissing him then we watched the show until it was our time to go then they had to go cause they take the stairs while I was going to go the the gorilla then I  walked to the gorilla waiting for my theme song to play then the manager played my theme well actually it was the shield music cause I'm part of the shield I made my entrance and got in the ring and the shield music played and the came down the stairs then they jumped off the barricade then got in the ring then Paige and The Evolution made their entrance and then they got in the ring and as you know the match was No Hold Barred

The ref rang the bell then I  hit Paige, Seth hit Randy, Dean hit Batista, and Roman hit my dad we all fought against each other

I hit Paige hard and she fell down to the ground then I  hit her with the pedigree then went to grab a steel chair from under the ring and got in the ring where Roman was standing after knocking my dad out of the ring then I hit his back as hard as I can and he fell down to  the mat then I hit him again and again and again and again  and every time I hit him harder than the other then Seth was trying to take the chair from me but I  hit him with it then Dean came too so I hit him with the chair and now all the three members of the shield are down then my dad ,Randy and Batista got in the ring, Seth and Dean rolled out of the ring then Randy took Roman's vest off and Batista brought the steel steps to the ring and dad placed Roman on the steel steps then Randy brought three kendo sticks and dad held Roman's hands while Randy and Batista were hitting his bare back with the Kendo sticks and he was in so much pain,he was suffering and hurt and I don't know why but I felt guilty

then they got Roman out of the ring and then it was my time I got down from the ring and grabbed Paige by her hair and got her in the ring and did the pedigree again and then I pinned her

"Paige has been eliminated " then I was about to stand up but Randy came towards me holding a chair and he was about to hit me but Roman came and took the hit on his head and he fell straight to the mat.

he protected me even though I have hurt him

I crawled to him looking at him, he wasn't moving he was only talking slow breaths

"Roman, Roman, Ro....."I said completely breaking down into tears

"Emily........Get out of here...........please baby girl don't cry I'll be....... Okay " he said but it was hard for him to talk then referees and doctors were surroundoing him as he laid there motionless

I went backstage to  see Nikki Bella who just hugged me tightly as she can then we watched the match from the screen that was at the gorilla I saw them putting Roman on the stretcher then Seth and Dean had to continue the match without him then the doctors passed by me and Nikki then we saw that Dean and Seth won without Roman then me and Nikki walked to the doctor and he said that they sent Roman to the hospital and I  immediately went to my car and drove to the hospital and I went to the nurse who was sitting on here desk

"I want to see Roman Reigns "I said then she looked at her computer

"he is in the surgery room "she said pointing to the door then I  sat on a chair and put my head in my hands and cried then Seth and Dean came and they hugged me

"why did you attack us like that " Seth said

"I was jealous and angry because Roman kissed Eva "I said and cried

"Roman didn't kiss Eva back ,he just froze in his place"Dean said

"he didn't know what to do " Seth said

I sat on the chair again and sobbed quietly 

Then it was awkward silence between us

(2 HOURS LATER)
the doctor came from the room

"Roman's family " he said

"yes " I said and stood up from the chair I was sitting on

"what are your connection with him "he asked

"I'm his girlfriend "I said

"come with me please " he said and I followed him to his office

"well Mr. Reigns got a pretty hard hit over his head that could have killed him but luckily he survived and by the way are you  Emily " he said

"yes, I'm" I said

"well he has been saying your name repeatedly,If you want you can see him now ,he is in room 363"he said and I  nodded then went his room to find him sleeping peacefully I walked to the room and sat on the chair beside him and held his hand and his words on our date played in my head like a broken record

"Emily,I really really like you I've always did, since NXT I've always saw you there I've always wanted to be with you but you were with that guy Baron Corbin and I saw that you were happy with him so I just lost my hopes that I could be with you but I promised myself that I would always take care of you.....protect you.....make you mine and now you're here with me after all this waiting I finally reached you my precious princess "

Then I felt him waking up and after sometime he was fully awake

"h.. Hi...  " I said then he looked at me with a small smile but didn't respond

After sometime he looked at me

"I should have told you that I have dated Eva once,and when she kissed me I froze and didn't kiss back and all the shitest memories came back on my mind how she tracked me saying that she was pregnant with my child but it wasn't mine, or the time I caught her cheating on me but I forgave her and I don't know why, she fuckin used me and I was so stupid but you came to my mind and then I pushed her off, I'm sorry I really want you to forgive me cause I don't want to lose you the most precious thing in my worthless life "he said as he was crying from those memories and me not forgiving him and the pain that he is suffering from,

"it's not your fault to apologize " I said

"no it is my fault if I pushed Eva away immdiatlly nothing would have happened "he said

"I'm sorry I'm so fuckin sorry for you getting hurt Tonight for ignoring you for being a complete bitch to you "I said with my tears falling down uncontrollably

"Don't cry you know I hate seeing you like that come on smile and lit up my life again "he said and I cracked a small smile to him

"Do you see that's better "he said smiling

I felt like I was so heartless when I did this to him I should have at least listened to him.

and right now all I did was hugging him tightly and kissing his lips roughly
