she stayed quiet, not knowing what to do. she could just walk away and leave him, but she noticed that he didn't have an umbrella.
she decided to wait until he was done, so they could walk to college together. because she wanted to repay him for last time, of course.
when hoseok stood up, he saw her leaning against the shrine wall. he was surprised, pleasantly surprised.
for some reason, he liked her presence, it always made his day when she actually texted back or engaged him in a conversation.
since that day he asked her number, he tried to talk to her, he tried to know her better, but she always pushed him away.
until recently, she had accepted him a bit more, and it made him happy.
he wondered what she was doing there, but he realized it must've been the same reason as him. he smiled before asking her if she wanted to walk together to class, to which she answered yes.
the girl wanted to ask which person hoseok was visiting, but he answered before she even asked.
"if you were wondering, i was visiting my passed grandfather. he died of heart cancer but he's in a better place now... he used to be my favorite family member, he would always smile to lighten up the mood, he would always be there for me, he would always be the one to comfort me first, but i guess everyone leaves this world, i guess behind every smile there's a story, there's a scar, i guess he had to fly away and shatter, just like everyone else, just like a butterfly."
