"Jake, just the man I wanted to see."
"Really? Well than."
"What do you want my boy, besides money."
I didn't want any money, I wanted to ask you something."
"Sure Jake, what is it?"
"I needed to ask you something about relationships, like datings and stuff."
"Um..well what's the problem?"
"Well you see, everyone at school thinks I have a crush on Megan Stone, but I don't even like her, she's a jerk."
"Well, if you don't like this Megan girl, why don't you tell everyone that"
"I tried, but they still don't believe me."
"So do you like someone else?"
"I think I do"
"Well son, who is it?"
" I think I'm in love with your daughter sir."
"Well Jake, usually I would be mad and upset, not I'm not for you."
"How come?.... I'm just curious?"
"Because you seem like an loyal, respectful, and caring guy and that is what my daughter needs in her life, I barely do it."
My dad and I haven't been close in many years since my mom moved to New York three years ago. Even since then, we were kinda just complete strangers.
"Well thank you for saying that. And I hope one day you and Emily would be close again."
"Thanks Jake. That means a lot."
"Your welcome, and one more thing, can I take your daughter on a date?
