Emily's POV:
I decided to go to Jake's house to talk to him about our relationship and tell him the sad news. I soon as I got to his house, it rang the doorbell and prayed that everything would be ok.
"Hello Emily." Jake's mom said
"Hello Mrs. Soul, is Jake there?" I asked nervously
"Of course, come in, come in."
I went into his house and sat on their beautiful couch. As soon as I sat down, I saw Jake coming towards me.
"Hey Emily." Jake said
"Hi Jake."
"Um, do you want to talk upstairs where it's private."
"Ok."
We went upstairs to the sitting room. It was pretty weird since as soon as we were in the room, we didn't sit next to each other, we sat across. I knew that that was a bad sign.
"I need to tell you something." We both said at the same time
"Ok, ladies first." Jake said
"Well, I had a talk with my dad the other day."
"And I've talked with my mom eariler today."
"And my dad said that long distance relationships never work out."
"That's the same thing my mom said too."
"And he said the only way to fix this relationship for the better is to....."
"He told you to break up with me didn't he?"
"Yes, but how did you know?"
"My mom wanted me to break up with you because she had the same thought like your dad."
"Oh."
"Yea."
"So this is it, I guess."
"Yea, I guess it is."
We both got up from the couch and gave each other a long hug
"Jake, can you do me a favor?" I asked
"Sure, what is it?"
"Don't let go yet."
"I wasn't planning to."
