(AnnaBeth's Pov.)
November 30th, 2016
I wake up to the sound of quiet singing. I recognize the voice. It's Amelia. She sounds beautiful! She's singing a song that I'm not quite familiar with. I slowly open my eyes, but I don't see her. I sit up and look outside of our fort. I see her sitting on the windowsill, strumming a guitar. She doesn't notice me until I accidentally knock over something that was sitting on the bed. She looks shocked, like she's been caught.
"You sound beautiful, Amelia!" I truthfully tell her.
I can tell she's blushing. "Thanks..' She says, smiling. I just nod.

Amelia and I get up and get ready together. She lets me borrow some more clothes. I'm pretty sure we're the same size.
I'm wearing dark blue skinny jeans with a blue shirt that has a white smiley face on it And she's wearing darker skinny jeans with a white shirt that has love written in rainbow on it.
We walk downstairs and into the kitchen. Her dad's are already in there making breakfast. Harry turns around and his face seems to light up when he sees the shirt Amelia is wearing.
"Hey, you're actually wearing something I picked out for you!" He says, smiling and Amelia just laughs.
"Good morning, girls!" Niall says as he places two plates with pancakes on them in front of us.
"Morning!" We both say, in unison then dig into our pancakes.
/ /
After breakfast, Niall and Harry drive us to school. Yay! Not.. but at least I have a friend now.

(Harry's Pov.)
After we drop the girls off at school, we went to the studio so Niall can work on some stuff. To pass time and because I need to talk to her, I call my mum.
I wanna tell her about AnnaBeth and what Niall and I were talking about. I really think we should adopt her.
/ /
"Love, I think you should go with your gut. If you feel like You and Niall can handle another child, than go for it. I know there is enough love in your hearts for two." My mum says.
"Thank you, mum! I know we can." I say, smiling.
/ /
After I get off of the phone, I realize that Niall is already done. Oops, I guess I was on the phone a little longer than I expected...
"You ready, babe?" Niall asks.
"Yeah." I say and peck his lips.
We go out and get in his car. He pulls out of the driveway and begins to drive home.
"I think we should talk more about AnnaBeth while Amelia is at school." Niall says.
"I do too. Also, I think one of us needs to talk to her alone. Maybe she'll open up more. Maybe she's just overwhelmed when all of us are asking her question. We need to take it slowly. Let her know that she can trust us." I say while looking out the car window.
"I think that's a great idea, to be honest. I think it should be you that talks to her. You know what to say and how to talk to her better than I do." Niall says, laughing a little. I just shake my head and rest my hand on top of his knee.
/ /
When we get home, we make tea and sit on the back porch. We talk for about an hour and a half about AnnaBeth. About everything. I think we've thought it through.
"It's still a few hours til school ends. Wanna go grab some lunch?" Niall suggests.
"Sounds good to me." I say.
We go inside and put on our shoes then leave.

(AnnaBeth's Pov.)
So, I've been thinking all day about Niall and Harry. Why were they asking me so many questions? Do they actually care about me? They just met me...
"AnnaBeth?" Amelia's voice snaps me out of my thoughts.
"Oh, huh? Sorry." I say.
"You alright?" She asks and I nod.
"I'm fine." I say and finish eating lunch.
/ /
It's finally time to leave this hel- school! I walk with Amelia to the door and sit on the steps with her.
"You wanna stay another night?" Amelia asks.
"I-I don't want to be a burden.." I tell her truthfully.
"AnnaBeth, I can assure you, you're not a burden. My dads really like you and we have a lot in common and we get along really good." She says, resting a hand on my shoulder.
I smile, "Them, sure." I say and she smiles.
After about fifteen minutes of waiting, her dads pull up in front of us. Amelia asks if I can stay and they say yes. We get in and Niall begins to drive off.
/ /
When we get to the house, we go upstairs and do our homework.
"Adults are so lucky they don't have to do homework anymore!" Amelia says.
"I know right!" I say.
/ /
I hear Amelia's door open and someone clear their throat. I turn around and see Harry.
"Hey, AnnaBeth, can I talk to you for a minute, please?" He says.
"Yeah." I say and put my homework down on the bed.
I get up and follow him downstairs. He sits down on the couch and pays the seat next to him. I sit down and ask if I did something wrong. Why else would he want to talk to me?
"No, honey. I want to ask you something very important." He says.
"Alright..." I say, kinda nervous of what the question is.
"Do you like it here?" He asks, looking like he's not sure what to say.
"Y-Yes. Why?" I ask.
"Do you have any legal guardians?" He asks.
I think about wether or not I should tell him them truth. I think I know what he's getting at. Adopting me. And to be honest, I think it'd be amazing!
"No.. I don't.." I say.
"AnnaBeth, I know we haven't known each other that long, but Niall and I really like you and we want to help you. We trust you already and we hope you trust us. How would you feel about us adopting you? We won't try to replace your parents, I promise. You don't have to call us dad or anything. Its up to you." He says with a hopeful look on his face.
I don't even have to think about it. I've been thinking about it all day. "Yes, I'd love that!" I blurt out.
He smiles really big. "Great! We'll start getting the papers and everything done as soon as we can." He says.
"Thank you." I tell him and hug him.
