You had been friends with Victoria for a few years now, and in those few years you found out that she was the younger sister of Max Verstappen. A year ago she decided to introduce you to him, and ever since that day, you two have been very good friends as well. When you found out there was a job opening at Red Bull, you took your chance and before you knew it, you were working as Max's media officer.
You had always wanted to do something like that anyway, but being around Max almost always made it even better. You were not going to lie to yourself: over the past few months you have been developing some strong feelings for him. But you were sure that he wouldn't return them. You had seen him with some beautiful models quite some times now. It also wouldn't be very professional for you to be in a relationship with him. Not even mentioning Victoria's reaction, that was the thing you would be most afraid of. What would she think? Would she feel betrayed?

"What are you sulking about?" Victoria asked, snapping you out of your thoughts.

"Oh, nothing much," you said, trying to shrug it off like it was not a big deal.

"Oh come on! I know you (y/n). I can tell when something is bothering you and when you're not speaking the truth."

"I don't want to talk about it," you said, and tried to walk to your room, but you were stopped by Victoria blocking your way.

"Just know that when you do want to talk about it, I am always here for you."

"Yeah, I know. Thanks Vic," you said and walked away.

"Oh (y/n)!" She yelled out, "I almost forgot, Max is throwing a pool plarty together with some of the other drivers. We would like it if you'd come," she said.

"Oh, uh, I don't know if I have-"

"You literally have nothing else to do (y/n)," she said, looking at you rather unimpressed.

You sighed, "no you're right. I'll be there."

She did a little victory dance and pulled you in for a hug, telling you to wear your finest bikini.

-

You took one last look in the mirror and decided that you looked fine as hell. You were wearing a blue bikini, exactly like the colours of Red Bull. You were wearing a cute summer dress over it to wear while walking towards the venue.

You heard a whistle coming from behind you, and you didn't even need to turn around to know that Victoria stood behind you.

"So, you actually listened to me for once, when I told you to wear your finest bikini," she said, earning a slap from you.

"Says you. Are you finally going to make a move on him tonight?" You asked, referring to her crush, who was also coming to the party.

"Only if you make a move on yours," she said, crossing her arms in the progress. "I know you like him, so go for it. You have my blessing. Besides, I've always wanted to have another sister."

"Wait a minute. You've known all along that I've had a crush on him and you didn't tell me anything?"

"Well, you didn't exactly tell me anything either," she said smugly, "and it's not that hard to see that you like him. I can see it in your eyes. They light up when he walks into the room. I feel the same way with my crush. So go for it! Get him!"

"Right. We'll see about that. You ready to go?" You asked.

"Hell yes, come on, babe. We have some gorgeous men waiting on us."

-

Once at the party, you could see that Max's body was very toned and more muscular than you had ever imagined him to be. You were definitely not complaining about the view you had.

Daniel was also at the party, and he was more flirtatious than ever. "So, doll. You fancy anyone here?" He asked and you nearly choked on your water. "I think that is a yes. Is it me?"

You huffed, "no Daniel, I am very sorry but I do not like you that way."

"I know. Can I let you in on a little secret?" You nodded at him to go on.

"Someone over here has been staring at you ever since you walked in. He also looks quite jealous that I am talking to you right now. I'll probably regret this later," he said, jokingly.

"Really? Who?" You asked as casual as you could.

"Mr. Verstappen over there. But I'm sure you don't mind the attention."

You hit him on the chest and shook your head playfully.

"I highly doubt that he's watching me," you said, "why would he watch me when there are so many models over here?"

"Don't doubt yourself. You are prettier than all of them combined. I gotta go, though. Seems like they're having trouble with the barby. Oh, and if you don't believe what I just told you, then  just turn around and see for yourself."

So you did. You turned around and were met by a pair of light blue eyes staring intently at you. As soon as he was caught, though, he pretended to look at the magazine he held in his hands. You raised your eyebrow and shrugged it off. It was probably nothing. Daniel had a wild imagination, so you brushed it off for now.

You decided to walk towards the kitchen to grab something to drink. But as soon as you opened the door of the fridge, it was slammed shut and you were pressed up against it by the one and only Max Verstappen.

"You have no idea how tempting you look in that bikini."

"Oh?" You said, raising an eyebrow and cocking your head to the side.

"God, you are driving me insane. I've tried to keep you out of my mind. I've tried so hard, but I can't. I can't stop thinking about you."

Your heartbeat quickened and your breath hitched in your throat. Was this really happening?

You tried to speak, but it was as if someone had cut off your tongue and couldn't speak anymore.

But you didn't need to say a thing. Before you could even process what was happening, he had already pressed his lips on yours. At first, you didn't respond because you were shocked that he felt the same way. But after a few seconds, you melted into the kiss and kissed him back passionately. He pressed you further against the fridge, and left almost no space between the two of you. This was what you had been dreaming of ever since you'd met him.

"Cough, cough," someone not-so-subtly said, making the two of you back away from each other.

"Enjoying yourselves?" Daniel smirked, leaning casually against the door of the kitchen, while Victoria stood by his side, looking smug as ever.

"Get out." Max said, looking pissed off that they had interrupted you, and seemingly unimpressed by their behaviour.

"Alright, alright," Dan said and threw his hands in the air, "just know that you have my blessing."

"Oh and mine too. I totally ship it. You two totally are my new OTP," Victoria said, and together, the two of them walked out.

"What did she just say? Ship? OTP? Did I miss something?" Max said, looking extremely confused by her choice of words.

"Oh it doesn't matter. She meant that she was totally fine with... well... this."

"Oh yeah, before I forget," Max said, "be mine?"

"Definitely."

-

"Hey (y/n)?"

"Yeah?"

"I ship us too."
