Meeting

The shuttle landed and Hera sent a squadron of fighters and Kanan to greet it.

"I don't know if I'm ready, what if I kill Kanan or something by accident?" Ezra asked Sabine, still feeling cold.

"I don't know the force, I don't know what to say." Sabine said looking at him.

"Me either." Ezra said as the shuttle touched down.

"Let's just do it." Sabine said, getting up and opening the ramp.

"Into the unknown." Ezra responded and Sabine smiled, getting up. "You should go first, Kanan thinks I'm dead."

"You need to explain that."

"I'll explain later."

"Fine I'll go first." She said, walking down the ramp. "But you better not hide on the ship."

"Give me a break I'm emotionally unstable." He muttered following behind.

"Truer words never spoken." She told him back.

"Sabine you're ok." Kanan said, seeing her walk down.

"Ya, I'm ok, just the normal turn yourself in to the Empire for your deadly boyfriend." She joked and his face fell.

"You know he's dead right." He told her gently as Ezra walked out from the ship.

"Hey Kanan." He said and waved.

Kanan fainted.

"Kanan." Sabine said as she caught him before he banged his head on the ground.

"Oops." Ezra said and shrugged.

"What do we do? Should we comm Hera?"

"No I'm in enough trouble already."

"Comm Chopper?"

"Fine."

"Chopper come in." Sabine laid Kanan on the ground and took his comm.

She heard beeping from the other side.

"No don't put Hera on, no Chopper." She protested. "Hi Hera we were just talking about you." She said, faking a happy tone.

"Sabine you're ok." She said, relived.

"Yeah I was in that shuttle with Ezra."

"I'm coming." Hera commed and they saw Hera walk up with Chopper rolling behind.

"Ezra, Sabine." She said, pulling them into her arms. "I'm so glad you're ok."

"I'm glad you are ok, did I miss anything?" Ezra asked letting her go.

"Just Zeb's funeral." Hera said. "And the occasional near death situation."

"You should of seen Chopper he dresses up nice." Sabine told him.

Ezra laughed.

"Why is Kanan on the ground?" Hera asked confused.

"He fainted." Sabine responded. "He thought Ezra was dead."

"He told me earlier, why does he think you are dead?" Hera asked him.

"Ahsoka stabbed me though the heart with her lightsaber and I stopped breathing."

Sabine gasped.

Hera almost fainted.

Kanan woke up.

"What did I kiss?" He said, shaking his head getting off the ground.

"How many women do you know?" Ezra asked him, trying not to die of laughter.

"Oh I meant miss give me a break I just wait- what happened......Ezra!" He said, standing up, trying not to faint again. "I saw you die, I saw Ahsoka stab you."

"About that ya, Ani kind of healed me." He said, rubbing his neck.

"Ani?" Kanan asked.

"We couldn't find her, you never told me if you found anything out Ezra." Sabine said, putting her hands on her hips.

"She ran, an unscheduled departure was reported shortly before we left, I can only assume she ran." Ezra told them.

"I hope she's ok." Kanan said, still not believing what he was seeing, maybe his cybernetic eyes malfunctioned.

"Yes Kanan I am really here." Ezra told him and Kanan became confused. "And I can still read thoughts, if you were confused."

"Ok I don't know what to say." Kanan told Ezra.

"None of us do." Sabine told him.

Ahsoka came walking up, looking into her data pad.

"You told me too-" She started, talking to Hera, and looked up.

"Hey Ahsoka." Ezra said, waving.

Ahsoka managed not to faint.

"You're alive-..." She managed to get out.

"Yep." Ezra responded.

"I don't know how..." She said.

"Ani." He responded.

"I should of thought of that." She said, trying not to attack Ezra. I still don't trust him. "Where is she?"

"She ran from the Empire, I don't know where she is now." Ezra said, sadly.

"We have to find her." Kanan told them.

"Can't you use your super creepy mind powers Ezra?" Sabine asked him.

"It's not that creepy, and maybe." He said, thinking.

"Let's go then." Kanan said grabbing his arm.

"No one is even going to ask about my missing left arm or the scar running down my face." Ezra said as Kanan ran off with him.

"Nope." Hera said as she watched them run off.

"I have a bad feeling about this." Sabine muttered as she watched the two climb into the ship.
