Chapter 5

I was woken up by the feeling of my phone vibrating against my cheek, i had fallen asleep texting Leon again. I groaned and sat up slowly allowing it to fall to my lap. Just as i was about to pick it up my dad came into my room

"oh your up, your mums going out with Leon's mum, Kelly, tonight so i was wondering if you wanted to spend some quality time with your dad?"

he pouted and made puppy eyes causing me to laugh and nodded

"yeah course, sounds good"

he smiled, nodded and walked out. Today was friday and because i didnt have school the next day i would probably end up being awake all night with dad, other than Leon he was my best friend, i told him everything... well nearly everything.

I unlocked my phone before opening my new message, i was expecting it to be from Leon telling me to move my lazy arse out of bed, but i was suprised when i read it.

??? - heyy gorgeous its Elliot ;) i was thinking mayb we could meet up tonite or tomorrow to do some more studyinn?? xxxxxxxxx

I grumbled and clicked the reply button

Ellie - im buzy tonight but i can do tomorrow, no funny business remember.

i sent it and climbed out of bed, i walked over to my wardrobe and pulled out my uniform before going back over to my phone, it had one new message and i read it as i went along to my en-suite to get sorted.

Elliot - yeah yeah, i know... your Leons ;) haha its ok brooky you wont be for long xxxxxxxx

I sighed and chucked my phone back in my room before putting my clothes down on the side, getting undressed and slipping into the shower.

As soon as i was done i got changed and put my hair into a high ponytail before checking my reflection in the mirror, i brushed my lips over with some pale lip gloss before walking back into my bedroom.

I grabbed my stuff and headed downstairs where my parents were arguing, again. They stopped when i walked in and both stared at me as i slumped my bag on the floor and sat down at the table next to my dad and watched my mum place some bacon in a roll before handing it to me.

Before i could start eating the doorbell went and my mum ushered off to get it, a few seconds later she walked back in followed by Leon, who sat next to me and opposite my dad and my mum went back to breakfast

"want some breakfast Leon?"

he looked up from a daze and nodded slowly

"yeah please"

my mum gave him a warm smile before making him a bacon roll and handing it to him, she left straight after.

"so why are you early?" i managed to ask him, throughout eating

"i had a bad dream and woke up early, got ready early then got bored, i knew you'd be up and i just wanted to spend more time with you."

I smiled and nodded, we finished eating in silence and when we were done he took my plate along with his and washed them up before joining me and my dad at the table, he stared up at me

"so i was wondering if you wanted to come to the cinema tonight, i hear the new Rob Pattinson movie is supposed to be good?"

i took a glance from my dad then back to Leon

"im slightly buzy tonight and tom-"

he interupted me with another offer

"well what about tomorrow then? we can meet up early and spend the whole day together?"

i looked at my dad who nodded slowly before i turned back to Leon, i knew he would flip his top if he knew i was spending it with Elliot but nothing was going to happen, i just needed to keep reminding myself that.

"well i-"

"im sure shed love to"

crap. i turned slowly to my dad who smiled

"wouldnt you darling?"

i turned back to Leon and forced a smile

"love it"

i said, maybe a bit too sarcastic. Leon noticed something in my face but didnt pester me, which was good because i really dont like being under pressure.

The whole day went by slowly and i hardly payed attention to anything anyone said, mainly because i was deciding, whether to go with Leon tomorrow or go with Elliot, even my dad noticed how distracted i was, he paused the film and looked at me

"Ellie are you ok?"

"Ellie?"

"oi smelly!"

i felt a piece of popcorn hit me in the face, shaking me awake. I looked at him

"did you say something?"

he sighed and nodded slowly

"yes, i asked you if you were ok? youve been acting wierd all evening, did something happen at school?"

i shook my head slowly and stood up, handing him my bowl of popcorn

"no, ive just got alot to think about and its making me really tired, im going to bed, ill talk to you tomorrow"

he stared at me confused but gave me a hug and kiss on the head before letting me go upstairs and get changed before crawling into bed and sighing. Leon or Elliot. Leon or Elliot. Elliot.
