12 days until the war

"Ah!!" Steven said covering his ears as the shrieking Pink Diamond yelled out in pain. "This hurts so much..." Garnet looked at him and saw how much pain he was in and looked out of the window looking at Kyanite. "They've been at it for hours.." Kyanite grabbed onto the solid scythe and yanked down on her jaw forcing her to crash down onto the ground. "You were the one that cause the humans so much suffering!!" Kyanite started charging up punches and wailed on Pink Diamonds face causing more screeching. "Shut up!!" Kyanite charged another punch and punched down with all of her might making her get quiet. "Is it over?" Steven and the others poked their heads up and saw Kyanite standing over Pink Diamond.

   "She beat her!" Steven said getting up. "But she doesn't look to happy." Kyanite stood there growling and mumbling under her breath with her fist still clenched. "HOW COULD YOU DO THIS TO YOUR OWN BLOOD YELLOW DIAMOND!?" Kyanite looked up to the sky and pointed at it. "Come down here and face me yourself you coward!" Kyanite dropped to her knees still looking up. "You do all of this because we weren't in your image." She grabbed her head and started splitting then quickly reformed back together. "What are you doing? L-let go!" "What's going on?" Steven said looking back at her. "Someone isn't letting go.." Garnet and the others ran over to her and watched as she struggled to split. "Connie you have to l-let go!" She grabbed her head even tighter and yelled out in pain. "Connie you'll overwork yourself!!" Steven quickly put a bubble around her to silence the screaming.

    "Connie...Zircon.." Pearl hugged Steven making him look away as the two still screamed in pain. "Garnet." Amethyst said very worried. "Garnet you have to help them." Pearl said holding Steven tighter. "I can't help them.." Garnet said disappointed. She grabbed the bubble and started walking towards the house. "Where are you going?" "They need to be alone.." Garnet ran and disappeared inside leaving the three out there alone. Steven looked up at the sky and saw two large familiar arms sitting there as if they were waiting on something. "Guys." Pearl and Amethyst looked up and freaked out when they saw the two arms in the sky. "G-garnet!!" Pearl put Steven down and ordered him to go where Garnet was and pulled her spear out along with Amethyst. "They were supposed to wait until our twenty days were up..." The two colored arms landed above he water and put their fingers on the sand. "We had eleven more days!" Amethyst said grinding her teeth. "They never kept their word! No matter who they were." Pearl looked back at the house worried then back at the many gem soldiers rushing out to meet them. "I hope she's alright.." "We don't have time to worry about Zircon right now Pearl!" Amethyst said with her guard completely up. "Right.."

"Connie? Connie? Connie, wake up...Connie!" Connie opened her eyes and looked at Zircon letting out a small scream before quickly climbing away. "You must have...seen things." Connie nodded her head slowly still keeping a close eye on Zircon. "You were the one...that really shattered Pink Diamond?" "Yea..and Rose took the blame." "Why did you do it?" "For Pearls freedom." "You did all that damage for Pearl!?" "And the humans Connie, i tried to keep her from taking you all from your families it didn't really work out so me and Rose decided to..shatter her." "But you mainly did it for Pearl, right?" "Yea." "You've sacrificed so much for Pearl yet you still try to deny anything between you two. Why do you do that Zircon? I can tell you still love fusing with her a lot." "That doesn't mean anything." "Fusion means you love someone right?" "Right." "There you go! S-stop being so difficult Zircon! You love Pearl and you know it! You can't deny it any longer you know this..." Zircon looked at Connie then looked down.

   "After all I said and did to her she won't forgive me for what I've done." "She's forgiven you for worse things..now you have a choice. Garnet or Pearl." "Connie." "Who stuck with you the longest Zircon, who helped you through the toughest part in your long life. Who do you connect more with?" "Connie I can't choose.." "Yes you can! You've faced harder decisions!!" Zircon sat there now staring at Connie then closed her eyes punching through the hard pink glass. "Come on Connie." She grabbed Connie and headed back to the warp pad. "Let's go make history!" "There we go!!" Zircon warped them back to the house and heard fighting coming from the outside. "What are they fighting?" She said heading outside. "Um...weren't they supposed to wait?" Connie said looking out of the window. "What do you mean?" Zircon looked out of the window and gasped a bit when she saw the gems fighting off the gem warriors.

    "They lied to us!" She bursted out of the door with Connie by her side and watched as the Diamonds stood there entertained. "HOW DARE YOU BREAK A RULE!!!" Zircon yelled angrily grabbing everyone's attention. "We broke no rules we just gave you days." "You could've at least gave us a week Yellow Diamond!" "Even if we did you still wouldn't be able to beat us." Zircon gritted her teeth and tightened her fist. "You insult me for the last time Yellow Diamond.." She summoned an electric green scythe and put her helmet on. "This time I'm going to show you who the real Diamond is." "Well it certainly isn't you!" She said laughing to herself. "Pearl!" "Y-yes my Diamond?" "Get the strongest gems out, NOW." "Yes my Diamond!" Zircon looked at Connie and kneeled down to her level. "Here." She gave Connie a smaller helmet and watched as it surrounded her whole body with armor. "Woaaahh!!" "I made it for you so you can help with the fight." "I feel like a super being!" "Come on Connie we can celebrate later, right now we have a war on our hands.." Connie and Zircon stood on the porch looking down into the fighting crowd. "This time...
