I walked out of the tent with Stylo by my side, "that was amazing!" I said. He turned to me with a huge smile across his face, "glad to help. It would be a shame to lose someone like you here, like it's only been two days, and Fallout seems to have really opened up to you. Never does that to anyone, not even the girls he tends to spend the night with. I'm proud of you."
I stopped.him for a second, "how did you know he opened up to me? You left when we began to talk on the train."
His smile was as big as ever, "I was only out of sight, not out of mind. I stood on the car for just a few more minutes. He always hates it when I listen in in him, but I like his music, always nice to hear because when he's actually preforming I'm out here taking money." We both looked up at the sky, the sun was just starting to set, "well, Bout time to start getting ready. Listen, I know you're not preforming tonight, but you should still watch the show, you know? Get an understanding to what we do here. The devil will be with you tomorrow morning to hand you you're working hours, and what to do when others are on. Pretty simple." Stylo looked towards one of the mountains in the distance. "Ehh I'll probably be drunk after the show, come with me." He didn't give me a choice, he just grabbed my hand, almost the same way he grabbed me when we realized we were late for the train, and dragged me to some far off trail. It looked rather abandoned, almost as if it hadn't been touched in years.
"Where are we going?" I asked.
"The lookout!" He dragged me up that mountain, it took about five minutes to get to the top, but It was so worth it. The lookout looked like an old balcony being held up by shifty wooden planks and a cheep fence around the edge. And the thing that made it all stand out was a small metal tower in the middle. It over looked the whole circus, it was beautiful in a way, everything seemed so small, and fragile from up high.
"I just didn't want to forget to show you, I'd knew you'd love it," Said Stylo.
"Its perfect up here," I said.
It didn't even feel cold like everywhere else did here, but warm, almost as if I would be coming here for years to come.
"Well, I gotta get ready for tonight. Meet you down there whenever you're coming back," Stylo bolted it the second he finished speaking. I feel like I kept him for too long.

As the night went by, I kept practicing my little stunt. I hope the people down below watching the circus didn't notice an occasional fire ball in the sky. From what I saw up top, the tent was packed. It was a full house, I wonder hoe they were able to get so much business within the first day.

With every swing of alcohol I put in my mouth, a little of it kept sliding down my throat. Once I saw the pack of people starting to leave the grounds, I knew I was tipsy. I managed to stay on the lookout all night. I know Stylo said it would be beneficial to watch the show, but something made me stay there.

"You're either happy staying, or sadly leaving.  Which one is it, why are you drinking?" Said a familiar voice. I turned around and saw Nickel coming up the mountain. I quickly put the flask down back into my back pocket.
"Its none of those, I'm just practicing," I said.
"So you're staying?" He said with a smile.
"Its staying!"
"That's perfect! From WHY I've seen, you look well liked already. Hell, when I first came here, Stylo tried to rip my eyes off, and Fallout just straight up hated me. We're all cool right now, they love me," he chuckled.
"Right," I laughed. Nickel stood beside me and leaned on the cheap fence. He looked up at the night sky, and began to point. "You know that star right there," he said. "Ever since I was a kid, I would always wish on that one, and I don't know why. But everyone I did, my wish would come true. Either with it being passing a test, or asking out the girl of my dreams." He looked at me, with a seductive look, he then slowly caressed my cheek.

"Nickel you of all people know what the clown hour is, get back to the tent," said Fallout.

"You know, youre always around me at the worst moments," said Nickel.

"I'm just making my rounds. Not my fault you're everywhere you shouldn't," a small grin appeared on Fallout's face, "Now get."
Nickel looked at me with kind eyes, "goodnight Cas, I see you tomorrow," he then looked at Fallout, "see you when you get to the tent." He them rushed down the hill.
Fallout looked at me, then crossed his arms, "so you managed to make it as a Carney, how do you feel?" Now, just like on the train, he's no longer that cold man that I've been dealing with all day, but a human with thoughts and feelings.
"I feel amazing!" I yelled.
"And drunk," said Fallout. He then held out his hand "Come on, give it up."
I handed him my flask, he then yanked it out of my hands, and opened the lid.
"Wait! I need that for the show!" I yelled.
"Don't worry, you'll get it back," he took a swig, then brushed his mouth off with the sleeve of his coat. "Ugh," he said. "Did you get this from Stylo? I don't know what he mixes, but whatever it is, I hate it." He gave me my flask back, then stood exactly where Nickel was sanding. He then looked up at the sky, and pointed to the same star that Nickel was pointing at, "You see that star? Fucking hate that one the most." We both started to laugh at his stupid joke, then looked down to the circus grounds, and in the distance was a glowing patch where there was no tents or anything.
"The clowns are going to start soon. Better get you home," he said.
"R-right," I stuttered. The drink was really starting to hit me, I felt like I couldn't walk. When I took one step, I instantly tripped over my two feet. The second Fallout saw me on the ground, he picked me right back up, "youre too drunk to walk," he said. He picked me up as a bride and carried me down the hill. On the way down, I felt like I was loosing energy by the second, the only thing I could do was look up at Fallout, and for a small moment before we got off the hill, I saw warmth in his face. I felt like I could trust him with my life, up until we got to my tent. When we both walked through the flaps, Hope was sitting on her bed cleaning her knifes. "Heard you were staying," she said as she kept on cleaning. You could tell that there was an attitude in her voice, but the second that she looked up, that all changed.
"Hello, Fallout, you did great tonight, I really enjoyed it."
Fallout ignored her, and went to lay me down on my bed. I was so tired, but so thankful that he managed to help me out. He took the old scruffy blanket that he gave me on the train, and lightly put it around me.
"Sweet dreams he said, feel better tomorrow."

When hope heard that, a questionable look appeared on her face, "Did you get her pregnant? Why are you so sweet?"

"She just needed me, that's all," he said, and then left.
