After the show I went to my tent. Casio was too tired and so was I. I went to bed and pulled out my old craft book. My tricks were starting to get warn, I needed to figure out something new. I kicked my feet back, placed my back against my pillow and began to let my mind wander. It was just after that when Fallout stepped into the tent. There was just something about him that seemed off. He didn't pay any attention to me, he just went straight to bed.
"Something on your mind?" I asked.
He rolled over in his bed.
"Don't worry about it," he said.

"Well can I talk to you?" I asked.
He sighed, then turned around.
"What?" He said.

I placed my book down, then turned to him. "I feel like I'm being watched."

"And I got no privacy," he said in a sigh.

"But I feel like Somethings different. Like it's the clowns."
Fallout turned towards me.
"What do you mean?" He asked.

"I'm just paranoid, that's all. The clowns wouldn't go after me," I said. "I'm a damn Carney after all. They know that."

Fallout turned back around in his bed, "just go to sleep. It's been a long night for me and I can't put up with you right now."

Although he was blunt, he was right. It was an extra long show without any help from those lazy clowns. I wonder where they were all night, only a few of them showed up. Such a strange thing.

I turned off the light, then rolled under my blanket. "Goodnight, Fall," I said.

"Night."

But after he finished talking, the floods of good messages started to fill the tent once again from the outside.

"Goodnight Fallout," said Hope.
"Goodnight Hope," said Fire.
"Sleep well James," said Peter.
"Sleep well Peter," said James.
"Sweet dreams flower bed," said Ice.
"Sleep tight Casio," said the flower sisters.
"Goodnight Nickel," said Casio.

Fallout turned around in his bed once again, "Goodnight to you all!" He yelled. A little bit of laughter came from the nearby tents. Fallout fell to his bed again with a smile on his face. He turned around but by the faint noise I heard him whisper, "Stylo you would have got a kick out of this."

Halfway through my rest, I woke up from a few noises coming from outside.
"You know you're next," said a faint whisper.
"Next in line," said another.

They sounded like no one I've ever heard before. I've talked to most of the clowns, and not even a Carney let alone the devil sounds like this.

"Don't be scared, just let it happen."

I turned around to see Fallout, but he was fast asleep. It had to be the middle of the night, but I was so curious. I jumped out of bed and didn't even bother to put on any form of clothing. I rushed outside to see what was waiting for me... but nothing was there. I ran around my tent a couple of times and examined everything, but nothing, or anything was there. Frustrated, I headed back inside and flopped back down on my bed.

"You know I'm a light sleeper, right?" Said Fallout. I turned towards him and saw as he pushed his covers off his body. "No use going back now. My day starts early." He put his clothes back on, and headed towards the door, but before he could leave I stopped him.

"I think there's someone out there."

He turned around then looked at me, "impossible. I'm typically the only one up at this hour. Clowns don't tend to last long on cold nights." The then left the tent, leaving me all alone.
