Camila got out of bed, slipping on a pair sweat pants, her girlfriend's old hoodie and her nike slides before throwing her hair in a messy bun. She grabbed her car keys off the dresser, making sure not to wake up her roommate before exiting her dorm.
She walked to her car, holding her arms against her chest because it was slightly cooler than an average night in Miami. She made it to her car opened the door and got in. As she cranked up the vehicle her phone dinged.

She locked her phone before sitting it in the cup holder. Her girlfriend's apartment wasn't too far off campus so she was happy it wouldn't take long to get there. She decided to stop at the corner store and get her girlfriend some ice cream and gummy worms, Lauren's favorite.
A couple minutes after leaving the store, she pulled up in the parking lot outside of Lauren's apartment.

As Camila reached Lauren's apartment door, she turned the nob and walked inside, immediately being attacked by her girlfriend throwing her arms across her shoulders and engulfing her in a hug. Camila was caught off guard but wrapped her arms around the slightly taller girl nonetheless.
"Hey princess," Camila whispered into the older girl's ear, moving back a little to kiss the side of her head.
"You didn't have to come Camz," Lauren said once she moved back, staring into her girlfriend's dark brown eyes. Camila only smiled before leaning in to lay a gentle peck against Lauren's lips.
"I wanted to baby, now come on." Camila grabbed Lauren's hand and led them to the older Latina's bedroom.
"Camz, what's in the bag?" Lauren inquired, looking at white bag in Camila's hand.
"I bought your favorites," Camila spoke, going into the bag and taking out the small pint of oreo cookie blast ice cream and small bag of sour gummy worms.
Lauren smiled adoringly at Camila before grabbing her face into her hands and bringing the smaller girl into a passionate kiss filled with nothing but love and admiration. Camila could feel Lauren smile against her lips and that in return made her heart flutter in her chest.
"What did I ever do to deserve some as perfect as you." Lauren whispered once they broke the kiss. Camila couldn't help the blush that rose onto her cheeks. Lauren was the only person that had that effect on her. Instead of replying, she just pecked the green eyed girl's cheek and moved over to the bed, sitting down.
Lauren walked over and stood between Camila's legs, prompting the younger girl to wrap her arms around her waist. Lauren looked down at Camila as the smaller girl looked up.
Lauren was dressed in tank top that had ridden up above her belly button and sleep shorts that barely covered her butt. Camila stroked Lauren's hip bone, causing the older Latina to feel chills.
"Now tell me baby, what was your nightmare about?" Lauren frowned, hoping Camila wouldn't ask about that. She sighed before sitting herself down in the brown eyed girl's lap, who was staring at her intently.
"It's stupid," She tried to play if off but Camila gave her a look and Lauren knew that meant start talking or Camila wouldn't let up.
"Okay well, um, " Lauren began, fiddling with Camila's fingers, a nervous habit of hers that Camila had picked up on over the past couple years.
"I was back in high school and um you went there too and I-um I was still a little nerd and you were one of the cool popular kids and I um tried to talk to you but you uh- you- you just laughed in my face and told me I was freak and that um you'd never date somebody like me," Camila frowned listening to the story, she couldn't help but feel her heartbreak at Lauren dreaming something like that. "And you uh called me a bunch of mean names and then I woke up."
Camila brought her hand to Lauren's cheek, rubbing it softly with the pad of her thumb before grabbing her chin and turning her face towards her.
"Babe, look at me." Lauren shook her head, feeling vulnerable and upset thinking Camila might be mad at her.
"Baby, please?" Camila said softly. Lauren finally looked into Camila's delicate brown eyes.
"I would NEVER , in a million years call you a freak or EVER make fun of you. You're the love of my life baby and someday I'm going to marry you. You're right, that dream was stupid because I wouldn't dare do anything like that to hurt you Lo. You're my princess and you mean the world to me. Those kids at your old high school were fucking idiots to not see the beautiful human being that you are." Camila finished, causing Lauren's heart to swell and tears to pool in her eyes. Lauren honestly doesn't know why she's being emotional it's just that Camila is so perfect and she always treats her right and she always looks after her and she's wondering what she did to ever deserve someone like her.
"God I love you," Lauren started, before leaning in and taking Camila's lips into her own.
"I love you more princess," Camila moved back and pecked Lauren's lips one more time.
"Now how about we cuddle, you eat your ice cream and we watch a movie?" Lauren smiled at the suggestion and nodded before getting off of Camila's lap and getting the ice cream that had probably melted by now.
When she turned around Camila was already in bed, dressed in a nike sports bra and American eagle boxer briefs with the most adorable smile spread across her face. Lauren put on Sleepover before climbing in bed and snuggling up to Camila.
The two girls stayed up all night just talking about anything and everything. They loved being in each other's company. Camila would wake up in the middle of the night to attend Lauren's needs a thousand times if that meant she could spend more time with the older girl and make her happy.
After that night and Camila reassuring her that she loved her Lauren never had a nightmare like that ever again.
