We're nearing the end of this book btw! This has been a huge milestone for me actually. I'm really proud of this book! (Much so than the other ones) But back to the regular story.
This has happened to me too many times to count now. I also find myself getting more and more annoyed by it as time goes on. I just don't work well with people because I find them to be uninteresting. They're shallow, so I tend to not cooperate (Which is my own fault).
Here's an example of what people do in group work though:
Group: *Taking down notes and finding stats*
Me: *Working on my own thing and looks at theirs* "Hey... I think this piece of information is incorrect."
Group: *Slowly looks at me* "No it's not...?" *Ignores me from now on*
A COUPLE WEEKS LATER
Teacher: "Did you know that this piece of information is incorrect? I'm going to have to take points of for this."
Group: "Dammit, Fox. Why didn't you say anything? I'm not saying it's your fault that we got a bad grade, but you should've said something if you saw something wrong!"
Me: *Stares at them and walks off*
Group: "Why doesn't he cooperate?"
Maybe I'm not assertive enough; I do get pushed around a lot... Hopefully this doesn't happen again. (Even though it probably will)
